I found the show kinda campy for my taste but it ain't bad.
More [i]X-Files[/i] and less [i]Game of Thrones[/i], which is actually probably a good thing because they could carve out their own little niche rather than trying to fill [i]GoT[/i]'s shoes.

I heard some people say they try to be like GoT. I disagree.

I disagree as well. It's Tim Burton's [i]Batman[/i] vs Christopher Nolan's [i]Batman[/i]. They both have elements of "Dark and gritty" but one leans a bit more into "rule of cool" and the other into "war is Hell".
