Malfeasance Cross Save Deleting the Quest

I know that right now, many people might not be going for Malfeasance, but I feel like this issue should be solved. So, what happened? I have a desktop PC, and it is immovable, so I decided to cross save to my Xbox while I'm away for Christmas. I own Forsaken on my PC, and I know that it doesn't transfer when you cross save. I decided to try my luck in a game of Gambit (regular not prime) to defeat the Primeval Servitor. I got the spawn on my first game on, second round. We killed it and I got hyped! Then I realized I didn't get the "Seething Heart" quest step or whichever it is after you kill the Servitor. I checked my quest steps and my quest was gone. I realized it was a Forsaken quest, and got EXTREMELY bummed, because it's Christmas Eve for God's sake. I read the most recent Vital Information posts here on the help page, and saw the mention on this topic. It had mentioned it, but because I had already beaten the Servitor, my quest is now gone. There was no fix stated on that particular post, and I really want Malfeasance. I'm currently away, so I don't exactly know how everything would work out on my PC, though if I have to restart my quest on my Titan or Warlock (I was on Hunter) if you even can, I'm gonna be really depressed. I hope Bungie can find this somehow and fix this, or at least give a signal in game for other players such as a red "X" over quests from seasons not purchased on the current platform.   • The reason you experienced this issue is quite simple. As you do not own Forsaken on Xbox, you cannot access the content locked to Forsaken while playing on Xbox. In order to progress the Malfeasance quest, you would need to not only acquire it while playing on your PC account (as it owns Forsaken), but you would also need to complete the steps for the quest while playing on PC. This topic has been discussed by Bungie in a number of places, as you have already discovered, and players were warned about how some quests may be affected by owning different licenses between platform accounts. When you’re back to playing on your PC account, you should be able to receive the quest on your other characters.
