Yea. I have a 90 range duke that i racked up 600 or so kill on before shadowkeep. It feels like it has 150 hc range now.. the nerf completely nullifies rampage at medium range- which was the whole purpose of me using it

Or we could remove it from them all besides 180s. Yeah 150s get use but that's because 140s dont currently have a big enough reason to use one since they both kill in three headshots. I feel like if I have good aim I should be rewarded for it. Handcannons have the exact same range nerf happen to them in destiny 1 rise of iron. return it back to that. There is no reason it should be as so much more drastic than it was before. Sorry PC players it's time for console to have lime light weapons beside nf or recluse/pulse or scouts

Why, because its easier to cap an entire weapons class regardless of perks so in this case range perks don't matter. You may have a god roll that had a range of 40 but the cap stops it at 30. Now if HC were tuned based on their sub-class/RPM range perks would matter again and a player could choose one more what their "individual" god roll was. The nerf was made bad because how it was executed not the nerf itself and 110 HC are the poster child of this bad nerf. This is just as bad as the nerf to Rampage which killed guns like Breakneck. Blank nerfs are always bad.

The range stat on all hand cannons needs to do more. The difference between the lowest range you can get to max is only around 4 meters, and since all hand cannons cannot get above 30 meters, they all just get dumped for more versatile primaries, namely pulses and scouts. They should all be buffed, with the range buff going up as the rate of fire decreases. 180s can stay similar to how they are now, maybe with a slight buff, with 150s being slightly further, 140s slightly further than 150s and 110s being slightly further than 140s. Not to mention the neutering of their PvE damages, to where it takes a Duke with 2 stacks of Rampage to one-crit an Acolyte in Heroics. With pulses and SMGs to compete with, that’s just pitiful. Would like to see them go back on the PvE damage and precision multiplier changes in addition to the range buffs.

I don't really care one way or another. One of the set ups I have on my hunter has me 2 tapping with a combo of Le Monarque and just about any 110 anyway, but I've been going with a Pribina-D that has snapshot and opening shot. Lucky pants for the win!

I've never had any luck at all with 110 hand cannons in PvP. However, I haven't tried to use one in more than a year.

They are useful. Pair one with another hand cannon. It makes the sweaty players really sweat especially if the 110 has kill clip , it is too 😂😂😂. I feel you though. Without Explosive Payload and an Artifact mod, they are hard to use. They need a reload and stability change to be honest. Always try to play mid range everytime until we get a fix though. Dont give in to the META.

Yeah. I have a perfectly rolled Duke that I was gonna pair with Eriana's Vow and Lucky Pants. Prime with Erianea's fast swap to Duke for the kill, proceed with rapid hit and rampage. Sounds fun on paper, but in practice the range/accuracy dropoff is so bad on 110s. Granted, at the time I was practicing the build scouts were everywhere so I was getting team shot to oblivion, but still. Annoying to say the least. Maybe it'd be better now that the Randy's grind has slowed.
