So I've recently upgraded to a proper PC specs listed below, but was playing on a laptop which specs will also be listed below...frame rate seems to be the same maybe slightly better with the desktop utilizing about 30% of the CPU and 40-65% of the GPU no matter what settings(1080p) with the laptop being pegged at 100% on both on any setting. (1080p).
Desktop Specs:
R7 2700x Liquid cooled
16gb Trident z Neo 3033MHz
Powercolor Red Devil 5700xt in OC bios
Samsung 850 Evo SSD
Thermal lake 750w 80+ bronze power supply
Max temp recorded while playing 54C
Ambient temperature ~68°F
Laptop Specs:
Intel 9750h
16gb ddr4 2133MHz
GTX 1660ti max q
Samsung 850 Evo SSD
Max temp recorded while playing 90C
Ambient temperature ~68°F
Desktop frame rates fluctuate between 60-115 in the public spaces and maintain higher fluctuations of 88-150 in activities like the nightfall ordeal. (No matter the video settings) (slightly increased frame rate when going to 1440p only about 10-15 points)
Laptop frame rates also stood around 50-100 in public spaces and in activities like the ordeal maintained 60-120. (No matter the video settings)
With all of that said I should be getting way higher frame rate than that and I'm not alone in this issue. If you need additional information please feel free to leave a reply. Any and all advice will be considered. I've tried loads on things. 🥳

>90c Theres your problem. Thermal throttling.

Editado por 5egas: 11/23/2019 8:02:44 PMYour specifications should run most games at good settings, but when it comes to Destiny I do recall a thread regarding certain CPU’s making Destiny run bad, or not starting at all. I would start by checking you have drivers from AMD and your motherboard specifically. Some fixes was with updated UEFI (bios) and drivers in general often seem right, but are merely generic ones - just to get you up and running with a new OS installation. Sorry if my reply is a bit condescending, but it’s easier to start simple, rather than pouring technical mumbo-jumbo all over you. <3 Edit: Forgot to ask. Do you experience stuttering when you play? In Destiny or any other games?

Nice specs btw. And yeah you should be running this game smoothly at higher settings. Bungie has gone around saying theyre investigating why people are having fps issues and stutters. So you can be safe knowing its not your rig lol.
