Arbalest needs to be able to break match game shields to be good
-
Arbalest is my go to weapon for Gambit/hardest strikes. Sure match game makes it unusable, but everywhere else it's a must pick for me.

Arby needs a little more bullet magnetism imo

Yeah, I end up missing my shots too often. Maybe I'm just trash at the game

Editado por Oh Lawd He Comin': 11/11/2019 6:22:52 PMIt's a slippery slope balance-wise imo. In Crucible I can absolutely dominate with Arbalest/Recluse against lower skill opponents, although matchmaking seems to keep me away from them for the most part. But against people who don't evade creatively or flinch you before you can charge your shot, it's just a pure massacre weapon. So really the only counterplay is flinching, counter-sniping, and dodging. Increasing bullet magnetism on the gun will put it in a scary place. Yes it'd be fun for the user, but there's already so much near-instant death in Crucible that I can understand why it's in the state that it's in. Edit: remember sleeper and other LFR in gambit before the nerfs? Used to be able to watch someone go behind cover, and shoot past the edge of the wall nearest them, and bullet magnetism would curve the shot into them when they weren't even on screen. Now imagine that in Crucible with Arbalest. That's my point lol.

Yeah Arbalest's only weakness is that it's the hardest skill based precision special in the game. Massive flinch and nonexistent magnetism make it feel super rewarding in long time use. Snipers with their perks + random stats can make aiming almost nonexistent, heads the size of chests etc.
