Arms Dealer 900 Strike - Leviathan's Breath

What. The hell. Is wrong with you? How is it so insanely difficult for you, Bungie, to actually create fun things? Why are you only able to make infuriatingly stupid things from rehashed material? It was quite the task, already, just to get to the actual boss fight of the strike. But then... You literally cannot stop running. You NEVER get a chance to actually aim and fire your weapon. You have to constantly sprint, jump, throw grenades and hip-fire everything. That was the single stupidest f***ing thing you have ever created and then had the audacity to call it a "quest." And for what? To make the one "updated" strike take even longer? You're so transparent with how you lazily pad things out. I was actually looking forward to doing this and getting the weapon. I got it but it was just a terrible experience. I was going to help my friends who were going after the bow get it later but I will never do that boss fight again. Holy sh*t, you're just awful at this.

Agree. I ran the strike with two blueberries - a 962 Titan and a 954 Warlock accompanied by my 963 Hunter. We didn't wipe. We did die numerous times. The strike, while being a heroic 900 version, was far tougher than one would reasonably expect in light of established difficulty curves in long-existing strikes. I found the end boss fight outright infuriatingly frustrating - not fun. (For any Hunters out there struggling, one tactic - it may not be the only one, but it is one - is to go with the Path of The Trapper (top tree) and equipping the exotic chest-piece Sixth Coyote; it gives you two dodges which make you invisible due to the Trapper path. Very handy in getting out of a tight spot in the crowded end-boss fights, and makes it easier for you to drop off the solar flare and revive fallen team mates.) Before some bright spark starts with something along the lines of "git gud" (please, learn how to spell; future generations thank you in advance), I know enough about my characters (961 Titan, 962 Warlock, 963 Hunter) so as not to fall under the "clueless" banner. As mentioned above, we got it done without wiping, but it was far from an enjoyable experience, and I'm glad I never, ever have to repeat it again. It is clear (and increasingly so,) that what Bungie deems to be "fun" is diametrically opposed to what I and seemingly not insignificant other numbers of players consider fun. There are players whose views on fun align with Bungie's - lucky them. Will they be enough to carry Bungie's quarterly and yearly financial demands? Time will tell.
