Day 5 - Today was a tragedy. I managed to find a spot where I can contact the vanguard. It works well and they sent some teams in to help find me and finish this mission but I keep losing entire fireteams to this new vex. It’s unlike any Vex mind I have ever fought. Zetta figured because we called the other Vex “Vex Daddy” we now have to call this one “Vex Mommy”. I don’t agree. There were a lot of lost lights today and while one of the teams just wanted to get out of the Garden we learned that backtracing is a big no go. We can’t seem to climb a spot we dropped down all the way back on day 2. I told the vanguard to hold off on reinforcements but to send some again in the morning.
