Thank you Bungie for a great Iron Banner this week thoroughly enjoyed it. Glad to see you’re thinking about the people who have family, job, social etc commitments as we were able to complete it before reset.

2 RespuestasOh yeah Iron Banner is soooo enjoyable because of Light level advantage. Nothing like obviously out playing your opponent and still losing because of the difference in light level. Light level shouldn't matter in an activity that requires aiming and out smarting a real opponent. Iron banner is literally Light level vs Light level, nothing more.

2 Respuestas5 years on Bnet, first-time poster, you. Looks a little fishy to me... IB hasn't changed one bit, in fact, it's actually worse then it has ever been. Sure, they made the quest easier, but are being cheap with the tokens. There is always some BS catch with this company, It's comical because it's sad how their actions play out.

1 RespuestaI agree . . . just remove the light level advantages or at least tone them down (I went in at 800 light, shotgun melee combo at point blank with an aggressive shotgun, doesn’t even kill the dude. Second, remove the damn SBMM. It takes way too long.

The no life players taking over lol. I remember I went into IB as a 920 and couldn’t kill anybody. So I told myself I’ll just take the beating for the loot, then I noticed I wasn’t getting any damn IB armor. they locked the loot behind a dumbass quest.. i just did the first 2 quests for boots an arms an dropped the whole event.

1 RespuestaI enjoy it but the downside is having 2 or 3 players with 0 caps. Game after game losing for no caps even having the better k.d in our side. So to get 5 tokens u need to play 2 games. You got to love how smart are those 0 caps players.

Every Iron Banner since D1 has been a great way to do some easy power and XP leveling and get a ton of gear. What is it, you people just hate getting killed in a match? I don’t give a crap if I get killed by some tryhard, I’ll just respawn and try again. I finished the quest all told in maybe a day, it was fine. If your dream PvP experience is to run around and stomp people easily without EVER losing a match, I imagine you’ll get bored pretty quickly. Unless that’s your ‘thing’ in which case I worry about some people.

Although lack of new weapons was a disappointment, this IB has overall been a nice experience. First and foremost i only had a handfull of laggy matches which is a first in IB, the questline was simple enough and i like that you didn’t need to travel to the tower after every step, and the enchanced mods as well as the decent stat rolls on the armor that dropped occasionally made it worth grinding for.

Making bounties a repeatable source of "Pinnacle" gear was definitely an improvement. Although it seems they need to address how this change affects the Triumph for completing all bounties on all characters in a single event.

Before reset I'm going to attempt getting 4 more sets of armor. The IB set looks awesome. If I fail, I'll just use what I have. NBD.

I got all 3 of my characters through the IB quests. I got them all around 930 LL now. The Iron Banner loot was great.

Yeah, this one was fun, specially with new lights. I checked Destiny tracker with 1.5M pvp players. So yeah Saladin was so busy lol

Yeh I was really into it this month too. Was a bit of a rocky start with disconnections but overall it was one of the best banners I can remember.

I’m really happy with how much easier the armor quest was. Got it done on all three characters so next IB I’ll be playing for just the pinnical and able to use whatever weapons I want without it bogging me down just because I want the armor.

12 RespuestasAs long as you didn't grind through everything you'll have something to do next time it rolls around. Otherwise next month's IB will be the same thing with no new weapons or armor.

Editado por Quaddity: 10/21/2019 4:33:23 PMAgreed I was a bit hesitant going in at 903 Saturday morning about 2 hours later finished the quest and four Pinnacle bounties. Ended at 918 PL didn't seem to make much difference. Think I played 15 matches.
