Not even 3 weeks, and all content that is getting me progress is one raid and one 100k per week... with this, not even with 100% good luck in not getting duplicates, it is less than 1 powerlevel per week... so, we are already back at playing just 1-2 hours after weekly reset and quit until next tuesday... wow....
-
How about chasing better rolls on armor stats and weapons? Collect every item still available in the game, on every character, then keep going to get the perks/stats you like? Chase after titles and lore? Play for FUN??? because it's a GAME

-
Now that i'm there i'm not too mad about it actually. So much of the community is so bad that LFG raids take 4 hours easy so works out for timing. Let's me do other things in my life and on feel pressured as well.
-
Same brother great disappointment
-
Bungie has always had trouble with endgame content, but this season is just pathetic.
-
I am at 960(courtesy of the artefact) on my Titan but would consider myself as still having piles to do before becoming bored. The key to this is understanding am I playing for fun or just the grind of reaching a target.
-
I guess that's their vision of "in Shadowkeep we want players to play the game the way they want". Go figure.
-
Try not raiding... For ppp like me its Iron Banner or nothing.
-
Ok, so any other season and 3 weeks in you would have hit max light and had nothing else to do. What's your point.
-
So what would be your reward for hitting 960? Having no activities worth playing?
-
951 without artifact, and could care less. I actually just enjoy playing.
-
Editado por based astocyte enjoyer: 10/20/2019 8:31:45 PMFor me, I still have a lot to do. Crucible never bores me, even after all these metas. I'm far from 950, and once I reach it, I still have a lot to do. Those Bungie Store Triumph Seals are looking real tasty, and I want one.
-
Here's what people don't seem to realize. Without this pinnacle cap, 950 would just be the cap. You wouldn't be any better off if it was gone. I think I agree with what Datto said in his video about it. Think of those levels as a bonus for playing challenging content. I do think we should get a few more sources of pinnacle gear, and maybe the drops should be +2, but it's not a huge problem the way it is.
-
Yes that's what it is if you're solely concerned about leveling your character and absolutely nothing else. If, however, you want to do other stuff like getting ritual weapons, unlocking seals, getting god roll guns, trying out fun character builds, finding some new and better way to do something (instead of just watching a video about it), etc then you have your hands full.
-
So. Do a large amount of you guys just not enjoy the game at all? Do you seriously only play so your number can go up? Power for me at least has always just been a gateway mechanic. Ie. If I'm not this light level then I likely cannot do this activity. Other than that. I really don't care about it. I'm assuming you would complain about power level even if there was no pinnacle grind? Max power level was easy to obtain during Forsaken as well. But people still played because the activities are fun. Just like how activities are fun in this expansion. So, if you wanna complain about a non-existent problem be my guest. I'm gonna enjoy shooting aliens/guardians.
-
If all you're chasing is the highest light level, then I suppose so.

Editado por michael: 10/20/2019 8:37:42 PMI find it kind of sad that some people literally only play this game for the sole purpose of making the number on their playercard higher. Just play for fun. Light level grind is one of dozens of things to do with your time on this game.
-
It’s your playing solely to increase your light level I don’t know what to tell ya. Btw in its current state it’s impossible to even get to the 960 mark by the end of the season even if you had perfect drops in each slot systematically. If power level is what you care about then you might as well quit now and wait till the power level is raised next season then go from there.
-
So what would be the difference if they increased pinnacle drops and you got to 960 in 2 weeks? Then you wouldn't have anything to do? The endgame grind is not 960, its finding armor with the perfect stats and weapons with God perks. If you treat 950 as top level and everything after that as a bonus you'll be good.

Editado por Kouz_MC: 10/21/2019 2:49:45 AMBungie wants you to grind XP more than milestones. Because XP is largely function of time spent.
-
What’s the issue here? I’m almost 960 on 2 characters and I’m not breaking my balls to get things done. Just turning in bounties and completing challenges. Is there a wall coming up after 960? Or what’s the issue here because I’m clearly missing it.
-
That’s all you have left? Where in the hell do people find the time!!!
-
I guess if you are only worried about having 950 gear. There’s still a ton of activities to do and try and get the best rolls on weapons and gear.
-
I feel like people are missing the point of the game...at this point
-
Light is just a number passed 950.
-
If you go for Undying you will have plenty of things to do; just grinding the emblems and ritual weapons is enough of a chore to make you want to hang yourself.
