Thanks for your feedback. After careful consideration, we have renamed masterwork gear to prestige gear, and reduced the stats on non prestige gear across the board. Bungie respects players time invested, and we wanted the reward to reflect this. Prestige gear will require prestige enhancement cores. FACTIONS ARE BACK! Yes you heard correctly. You're faction representative will now take masterwork cores in exchange for glimmer. The glimmer cap remains unchanged, but we have introduced diminishing returns when your guardian is out in the field, which means you shouldn't have to worry about hitting the cap again any time soon.
