I pre-ordered Shadowkeep on my Xbox account before cross save was announced. Today is the first day I was able to play on PC due to issues yesterday with cross save and school during the week. I had further issues playing Shadowkeep on PC before I realized I needed to download it on my Xbox for it to count. I had to re hook up my Xbox to do so, since I do not use it anymore. Upon completing the first moon mission [i]on my PC[/i] I got a message when I tried to talk to Eris Morn saying something like "You need to purchase Shadowkeep to use this content." I thought that everything about our characters would be transferred? So, confused as I was, I looked into it online. Only now, on October 5th, do I found out that purchases would not carry over between platforms. I looked back to see how long ago the cross save was announced and it looks like it was revealed some point in early August. I pre-ordered on June 9th.[u] Is there any way to move my purchase off of Xbox and onto my PC?[/u] I would not have pre-ordered on Xbox if I heard about cross save for PC and would have tried to cancel my order if i had been told that cross save did not transfer [i]all [/i]player data. [b]TDLR;[/b] i pre-ordered on xbox before cross save was announced and I am asking if my preorder can be moved to my PC account.
