Worried about the outcome of my cross save, Need Help!

Been kinda confused because I thought the cross save progress was quick and easy from other people that i'd heard from. Was planning to get back into the game as i've finally got time at the house once again. Wanted confirmation or help from the community as why it would be showing these two seemingly random characters as my cross save when I selected others. Any help appreciated :)

Your Battle.net characters will move to Steam regardless of which account is set as your Cross Save account. If you've successfully used your PS4/Xbox as your Cross Save account, your PS4/Xbox characters will appear on Steam, and your Battle.net characters will reappear if you ever decide to disable Cross Save. Also, just so you're aware, the two links you posted just bring me back to the bungie.net front page.
