That's been a thing since D1.
They never fixed it. And they never will.
This happens with that grenade and any water.

I remember it happening back in D1 as well, but it's just unfortunate if nothing can be done about it. I watched it bounce off of rocks and uneven surfaces as well. As good as that grenade is, it almost feels like throwing it is like tossing the dice on whether it will bounce or go off immediately. I just picked that particular spot due to the fact that i know for sure it always did that there to show them what to fix if possible. I guess from now on i am just going to try and hit the enemies directly with them to make sure.
