D2 causing PS4 to crash due to corrupt file?
So a fellow clan mate of mine had his PS4 crash with a corrupt file while playing Destiny 2 yesterday evening, causing him to have to re-initialize his PS4. Then shortly after I hopped offline tonight after playing Iron Banner with him, it happened to him again.
Is there a known issue with a corrupt D2 file after yesterday's update? I haven't seen anyone else post about it on Bungie or on the almighty Google. Is anyone else having this issue?
I can't really provide much details as for his PS4 specs and actual error codes, sorry in advance.

If the console is repeatedly crashing, then there may be an issue with the hard drive that the game is installed on. There are no known widespread issues of corrupt files. When downloading and installing, some users may experience hiccups that causes corruptions, but it's an individual issue. Have your friend uninstall the game, reinstall the game, and see if they still experience the issue. If they do, they'll need to contact Sony concerning possible hardware repair/replacement.
