Can we talk about comp boosting?
I know it isnt a big deal to some, and maybe not even to Bungie. But comp boosting is getting way out of hand in some communities. Maybe not as rampant in the American community, but in the Brazilian D2 community for example, entire clans are boosting their accounts in comp to 5500, getting NF, and then offering that same service for free to their clan mates. Want to do it for Mountain Top kills, fine, go ahead and match each other in Lockdown......but come on, comp?! Really?! What is the point of having a Pinnacle Weapon if people can just easily boost comp and not have anything done as punishment? I saw someone mention a few months ago that if not giving Glory points to 0.00 KD match wins is a good idea. Also, to work around this, people are still boosting, with a team of 8, matching each other, and still at least getting some kills so it doesnt look as obvious on Destiny Tracker. To remedy this one, can we make it to where you can match the same team more than 2 times in a row?

5 RespuestasIt has been going on for very long. I tried reporting a lot of people but that doesn't help because they use fake accounts for ads. I was once invited to a Discord server (through a clan ad on LFG) which had a paid Glory boosting section where there were people with their actual gamer tags and I reported them as well. I don't know anything happened to them or not. Most likely not, because some of them are still playing and some are even on this forum. These are the kind of people who are most likely to be asking others to [i]git gud[/i] or saying things like [i]mad cos bad[/i], etc. So whenever people are saying things like this on forums and they are attacking others' stats, etc, I know that most likely they are same kind of people. Other than Glory boosting, there are KD boosting lobbies as well. So sometimes you might find someone having 2.5 overall KD but still getting smoked by much lower KD players.

1 RespuestaIn fairness, simply having a pinnacle weapon doesn't make you a better crucible or comp player. A trash clan mate boosted to get NF, is still trash. It's annoying at best, trivial gamer jealousy at worst.

This community just wants to point fingers and blow whistles and complain all day. So some dude in Brazil want to use nf who cares. It’s a digital gun. I’m more mad that they are at home playing destiny with all those fine women around

This would eliminate the backing out of queue strategy most people use anyway. Also, matching the same team twice isn't a guarantee of suspicious activity (I've matched the same people 4 times in a row before).

It was easy to understand then it got thrown out a window... anyway cheating is dumb and people need to be punished, i agree.
