I spent $4.99 usd last night for 500 silver to add to my already 300 silver. I used it to buy Hush's ornament "Rock-a-bye" (for 400 silver), The "You Go Ahead" Emote (for 200 silver), and the "Eldritch Effects" Transmat Effect (for 200 silver). The first two products show as though I own them, the last one doesn't show as paid for at all, and NONE of these things are actually showing up on my character to use.
