1 year and still no 1k
I have 1 character. Next week, I will have downed Riven nearly every week for an entire year (50 clears not counting repeats to help others out). I still don't have 1K, and in my opinion that's a scandal, Bungie. I'm really not given to being a demanding or entitled player, but after running Last Wish every week for a year, I think in this case you owe me a 1K Voices. Why RNG protection wasn't implemented from the beginning is a mystery. You should reciprocate the patronage shown by gamers such as myself that come back week after week (after week) to the same content.

It took alot of chest runs to get mine, somewhere between 49 and 52, I lost track and started estimating. One of my buddies got one on on his 4th completion and another on his 5th. He ended up with 5 before I got mine. RNG is stupid! I was the last one out of 12 regular raiding buddies to get it. Sorry about your luck, hope you get it soon.

Having one character is killing your chances . You would’ve had it by now if you ran all 3 . First milestone of the week at reset run the raid . Switch character and go again . Make that your weekly ritual. That’s how one gets it done.

4 RespuestasU gotta make 3 characters dude. It took me 36 tries on each individual character to get vex mythoclast. Therefore, 108 tries in total. So it took me 36 weeks to get it. Would have been 108 weeks on one character

And my D1 clan spent nearly 3 years trying to get me to build more characters over there (moved from PS4 to PC, so new clan). After 5 years, I'm still using just 1 character. Why? Well, a couple weeks ago Aztecross sympathetically described gamers like me in exaggeration: "... I've got 7 kids, I'm working 80 hours a week, I teach Sunday school, I've got no more time!". Again, allowing for exaggeration, each one of those is true for me, and rightly they all come first. And besides, I'd like to play other games as well once in a while. But, even with my 1-charcter approach, I stand by my position: If I run the same raid every week for roughly a year, I think that level of effort warrants the raid exotic. I think it possibly should even be 1 or 2 seasons, but definitely 1 year.

Agreed on RNG protection! Despite it not being a raid weapon, Jötunn took me 20-30 powerful frames (excluding runs where people were AFK or literally just nowhere to be found during matchmaking) to get it to drop. Perhaps that's normal for an exotic (i.e., it should not be easy to get an exotic), but I heard others were getting it within their first few tries...

One of my teammates got FIVE 1k before I got mine, 51 chests looted when I finally got it... he got his first 2 on his 4th and 5th clear. I've helped sherpa that raid plenty of times and watch the guy that just ran their first raid and got it.

Should have been a quest, or rewarded for Petra's Run etc...

Took me 41 attempts to get 1k, and thats me doing riven and heart run 3 times a week
