Question about cross save

This is more or less going to be a copy paste of a previous post of mine that didn't get any attention. I'm super excited for cross save. I was wondering, however, if there would be a way to have my battle.net account be my primary, but keep my xbox account's triumphs, collections, etc. I preordered the deluxe Destiny 2 game with my veteran xbox profile, and played up until around the end of Warmind. I took a hiatus from xbox as a whole, and then created a battle.net account during the free month, and subsequently purchased the expansions. Thus, I have the progress (i recently reached 750 on bnet) on PC, but my veteran status and various emblems/weapons (like that preorder sword) on xbox. Would I have to give one up to cross save, and is there any way around that? I just wanted to ask before I commit and make a mistake. TL:DR, Is cross save everything from one profile, or will certain things like triumphs, veteran status, and preorder bonuses cross over as well? (I'm really hoping it's the second).

  • Hi there. What you're talking about is called merging, and that's not possible to perform. When you activate Cross Save, you get to choose to use one set of characters from one platform to use everywhere. All of their triumphs, gear, progress, and more goes with that. The other account will become dormant and won't be able to be used at all unless you disable Cross Save.
