I love d2 pvp, aside from overpowered supers, I love it. I love that it’s not some safe space where everyone is on an equal playing field. Having to use my actual brain to pick and choose engagements and how I approach situations and what I approach them with is actually challenging. It’s not like other games where if you practice enough it’s not that hard. D2 pvp will always be hard because it is unpredictable. I love it when a titan comes running at me with a shotgun at 200mph trying to shield bash me and I blast him away with a side arm, it’s -blam!-ing hilarious. Ya crucible needs some changes I’ll admit, but please don’t make the crucible a hyper balanced game like halo, because it seems like that’s where people want it to go.

Nope, I feel like it's been in better states but I enjoy it. I actually enjoyed it more when D2 first came out, there must be something wrong with me.

Editado por muzzerrrr: 7/31/2019 9:08:45 AMIt's a one-shot kill, high intensity, solo stomp the unworthy ritual. If that's what you like then that's what you've got and whether there is something wrong with you is a subjective opinion. I did enjoy crucible during the D2 vanilla period... because i actually had a chance. I don't bother now as generally it's not much fun getting one-shoted every 5 seconds. I understand it's what the hardcore solo PvP players wanted...just a bit sad it's an area of the game closed off to me now. I do enjoy Gambit... despite the fact that the solo-Pvp player is really king there as well.

My major issue re: Comp is the lack of dedicated servers which leaves players vulnerable to lagswitching, drophacking, and DDoS. But the lack of skill-based matchmaking/proper team balancing, stacks vs. solo, boring match types, flawed maps, etc. certainly don't help.
-
Many people like PvP, a lot more probably hate the unbalanced shit, being forced to use one class of weapons because it's "Meta" and the fact that network performance is on par with games from 20 years ago. It could be so much better but it gets so little attention.

Most people seem to have a problem with matchmaking more than crucible itself. This week I played alot of IB and enjoyed it far more than QP. Sure I got beat on several occasions however got mercy ruled far less than in QP. In QP matchmaking just seems al over the place. The one match you get steamrolled and the next you're doing the steamrolling. If they could get better balancing done alot more people would be playing crucible.

Yes there is something wrong with you to enjoy this terrible MP. I've seen better functioning MP games made in 2008.
-
I'd imagine you are more there to have fun than anything else. I use a pretty large mix of loadouts allowing me to have a ton of variety in my play sessions.
-
Nothing is wrong if you enjoy PvP. Everyone has their likes and dislikes.
-
Yep, some wrong. Its not bad but is defiantly not -blam!-ing good. Buch pf -blam!- players hanging back hiding around corners. Where the aggressive players at?
-
I mostly play solo and i enjoy PVP, i even help people get to Fabled in Comp. Some people get bored of PVP, it can be repetitive. Some people are not good, i would not have fun getting smashed over an over either.
-
I still suck, but since I joined a clan it's fun again. I can suck but have a laugh while doing it, especially when I'm not the worst scrub on the team. Which does happen. Now and again. Honest.
-
Nah you are fairly normal. Step outside the cesspool of the d2 forums and you'll find a much brighter place.

Editado por cherries: 7/30/2019 4:21:31 PMWe basically had halo in year 1, and that was abysmal. Hopefully these people desperate for halo again will get their fix with infinite. Hell I wouldn't mind getting back into Halo myself, but I really don't miss how slow that pvp was, just the great memories with friends. I agree with you though, I enjoy the crucible as well. Once the supers get nerfed in September I think wit will be way better.
-
Seems like you're getting carried in comp lol But that aside yeah D2 pvp is fun and all, but even if you'd balance the game it would still feel the same. It's just that sniper flinch is currently non-existent and even with a HC meta the whole archetype isn't even viable, so a broken meta completely.
-
Nah, I don't think there's anything wrong with you. I like it enough. The thing is, I don't touch comp and generally don't care about k/d or winning or anything really. It's more so a "let's jump in, use this absurd loadout, and see what kind of trouble I can get into" kind of thing. Good fun, no stress, and no expectations.
-
Other than how ridiculous roaming supers are right now and the terrible heavy ammo economy I agree with you fully. I have a blast in crucible most of the time I play.
-
Nah i like it aswell, sure it has ups and downs but meh what long running game doesnt?
-
Most complaints about PvP are from jaded PvE players who are frustrated that some exotics require crucible steps. I've met a bunch of people like that and for some reason they are scared of PvP scenario's, and I mean actual fear. Dunno if it's anxiety or whatever but you'll never get over it if you don't throw yourself in again and again.
-
Why do I like d2 pvp is there something wrong with me.
Yes.
please don’t make the crucible a hyper balanced game like halo, because it seems like that’s where people want it to go.[/quote[ Nope. Nobody wants a repeat of D2 vanilla except the 15% of the player base that stayed during that period. We just want supers and power ammo toned down, and specific exotics

I like PvP. It’s needs a few small balance changes, bigger maps and a complete overhaul on the absolutely -blam!-ing shit match making. I’m a slightly above average player. Today in IB I’ve got shit team after shit team. Bottom three players always doing nothing. 28% win rate for the last 25 matches.
-
Nothing wrong with you at all. It's not everyone's cup of tea. I loved PvP in the Halo days, it was one of my favorite activities. Destiny 1 and 2, not so much but everyone loves different things. You play that thing and get your money's worth... Have fun, like we all should be doing.

It’s the only interesting thing to do at the moment so I’m there too.
