Veteran Status come Shadowkeep Question: PC convert, but PS4 has Destiny 1 data
So as my title says, I played hundreds of hours on the PS4 with Destiny 1, and played a few dozen with Destiny 2 before switching PC to play with a new friend group. With the upcoming expansion, I really want to make my PC account my "main" account for purposes of what saves are shared between accounts. But, from what I've read/heard, that would currently mean I don't get something like a Veteran status on my PC account?
So my question is, is there any way to have my Destiny 1 save files recognized across the board so I get Veteran status on the PC? Or do I just have to mark my PS4 as my primary account, and lose the progress I've made on my PC characters to make it so I'm marked as a Veteran? If it's the later, I'm just not playing on the PC for a while and starting to grind new characters on the PS4, much to my chagrin.

The whole there is no D1 save on PC is an excuse straight up and its an annoying one. From people who dont understand coding. The dialog is there, its part of the game files, all you need to do is build a pathway to activate it. If the modding community could get there hands on the game this wouldve been done by now. I dont understand how a multi-million dollar corporation thats NOW FREE of stockholder influences and can do LITERALLY whatever they want cant figure that out.

Well that sucks, i played D1 and did all the raids and DLC's etc on xbox. No brainier moving to PC for D2 with the higher FPS and refresh rates. Sucks none of my achievements will carry. from my xbox days but aw well

PC saves will not have "veteran" status as there was no d1 on pc to forward that to. Veteran status was determined before d2's launch with the migration at that time.

If You find out a direct answer let me know i want to know this as well but i get run arounds. But so far ive been told no PC player are screwed but console player keep everything and get to now play on pc with all their stuff. So because you payed to buy the game twice you must now choose. Your own personal story and status or your progress on PC. Kinda ruins the game for me, personally.
