Hey guys, So I recently got a new ISP for my internet at home as my previous one was giving massive disconnection problems on a continuous basis. Ever since getting my net ISP, my latency in speedtests, other online games etc. run at a smooth and low latency. But not in Destiny pvp. In Crucible and Gambit, the network lag is hectic. The response rate is very low landing shots, taking damage, picking up items, killing enemies, racking perks and buffs all takes a long time to register. Yes I do play overseas (as there are no servers in South Africa), but I never had this kind of lag on my previous ISP, even with all the disconnections. A stable ping connecting to Europe on my side should be around 180-200ms. But it feels like in pvp it spikes up to 400, 500, maybe even more. The line I run is a 4mb download and 0.4mb upload. Does any of these speeds impact gameplay? Some advice would be much appreciated, thanks dudes.
