A Non-PVP Player's Thoughts on Crucible

Hey there. This is just a log of a lot of things I've noticed that make Crucible a negative experience, and why someone like myself stays away from it as much as possible. I've played more than ever this Season since Forsaken, and even had a decent amount of fun with Iron Banner before LoW got out of hand. Here's what I've got, let me know what you think. (I'm a console player btw) -Aim Assist on Sniper Rifles should disappear COMPLETELY once you are shot while ADS. I get killed from cross-map far too often after hammering the dude down to no health, and then he still gets the headshot. Vice Versa, there are a lot of times that I manage to pull one off while my reticle is very clearly not even on the opponent anymore. -Aim Assist in general should NEVER switch to a target that passes by momentarily. I can't tell you how many gunfights I've lost because someone has strafed and had someone behind them, or had their teammate run by, and the game forcibly switches targets to them in that split second and won't let you snap back. Your aim assist should LOCK onto the person you're primarily fighting unless you manually move the stick. -Special ammo is FAR too rampant. It's way too easy for teams to literally just run around with shotguns or snipers the entire game, not using primaries at all. I would love to see it return to pick ups like in D1, but if not, I think shotguns and fusions should be cut down to 1 ammo per life, we should be capped at 1 full magazine, only 1-2 ammo should drop on kill (or none, honestly), you should stop receiving special ammo after so many consecutive kills with only that weapon, or a combination of some of these. -Spawning is God AWFUL on some maps. Either some smaller maps need to be cut from Quickplay, or the spawning points on them need another overhaul. On maps like Firebase Echo, Meltdown, and Wormhaven, I spawn either right next to, or directly in line of sight in enemies over half the time, and if the enemy team moves in a full group, they can literally just run from A to C, sweep the team, and back to the other point in the time it takes us all to get respawned. Even aside from that, the game will put you in horrible positions like continuing to spawn players in while your team is getting spawn camped by a Super, rather than placing them somewhere else on the map until it stops. -Some supers have way too low of resistance, while others are INSANE. I've been killed in 2 hand cannon shots and by other pitiful attacks while in Golden Gun, and gotten some extremely unfair kills on people in Hammer of Sol, Sentinel, Stormcaller, and Dawnblade, but find it pretty much impossible to kill people casting Blade Barrage, Chaos Reach, Fists of Havoc, and Nova Bomb (3 Golden Gun shots for the stationary ones.) -Rumble is a -blam!-ing MESS. On top of the horrible spawn situation, it's just a cesspool of camping with pinnacle weapons, LoW, and running all over the map while in 1 Super. -Bullets losing all power as soon as you die is ridiculous, too. I've had a ridiculous amount of would-be trades where I die just before my opponent, and watch my shots impact and the dude even flinch, but he receives no damage. I've also had a lot of SUPER fun instances of just straight up not dealing damage with melee attacks or Supers. That's all I can think of at the moment. Honestly, D2 Crucible is right on the precipice of actually being fun, but there are some general QoL things or extreme imbalances that cause it to be super frustrating. It doesn't feel good to fall victim to these things, especially not every single match, and I think if they repaired some of them, we could see a lot more players branch out into it.
