Comp hates me when i solo
Im not lying to you when i say im living the comp version of hell. I have been losing so much the game decided to GIVE me points. The game takes JOY pitting me against a team of sweaties while my team want to play TDM in a Capture game or just rush into bomb site with a fricking Bow. Im starting to believe those who solo up to Fabled are just lucky when it comes to getting match with a competent team because Jesus to i get some potato's. I dont get mad when we lose to a close match but when we lose 48-100 or 1-6 and we are just getting curb stomped almost every game it really starts to grind my gears.

7 RespuestasWhat do you do to improve as a PVP player? Do you just expect your current skill set to carry you to Fabled or Legend? Many have soloed to Fabled. I got to 1744 glory in solo queue in Season 4. Some tips: Go into private matches to learn names of map locations, good for when you play in a team. That can help with map knowledge and then you can also practice jumps and how to travel around the map. Playing in the mornings can be easier than in the evenings. Using meta weapons and a strong offensive super definitely helps. If you cant find good people in LFG to play with, its probably because their skill level is better than yours (no offense meant), I also run into this issue. I have an approximate 1.2 KD and 1.7 KDA. I try to use solo matchmaking help me find friends. If you play a match and you like one or two people you played with, send them a "GG" good game, and ask if they would like to party up and play together. Why I think this is a good idea, Bungie matched you up with them, they probably have a similar skill level and are in a similar spot in grinding glory. Learn strategies for "Countdown", usually kill an enemy and rush the survivors. Don't arm the bomb unless you kill one of theirs first. Practice in Rumble or QP new weapons and supers Practice in Rumble your one on one skills. If you cant kill one person by yourself, it will be much harder for you to help out your team.. Probably common knowledge, If you are the only one with a super, that can be a great time to use yours. No one around to counter you easily with a super of their own. Also you start generating orbs for your team mates so they can get their supers going. Try to use the bonus points to your advantage. You just need to play 3 games a week to get 120-160 points a week. 12 weeks at 120 points is 1440. That is 2/3 of the points that you need. In my time, Competitive has never been a particularly solo-friendly experience. If Bungie could fix some of the other over-arching issues of the Crucible and raise the playerbase again, I think there should be a solo-queue and team-queue playlist.

I've had very little trouble this season except 2 people legitimately throwing while solo queue to lower their rank. Weird thing to do but whatever.

it's not even solo, i'm running a 4 stack and i'm constantly ran up against the sweatiest -blam!-s in existance, using nothing but beloved, LoW, Erintil, ect.

Streaks help, but until the matchmaking system is 100% by Glory rank, it's just a downright slog. About a month in this season and I'm still seeing so many people who are exceptionally skilled players sub 1000 Glory. I've solo'd to Mythic, so I like to think I know a skilled opponent when I see one. It's just not worth it to really try more than that unless you have a team you can count on. Thank goodness for the weekly Glory reward. If they could also create a weekly Glory bounty, that'd be cool too. I have Luna and Recluse. Since I started back right when JW started, I still have to reach Fabled one more time to finish off Mountaintop.

I just got back into Destiny. Decided to solo que. Got lucky and won 9 matches in a row. Halfway there. I’m mainly aiming for the Revoker.

I mean hey I loaded into a comp control game 3v4 and somehow pulled it back in the last few minutes to win 98-97 Since I had a five win streak.... I swear to -blam!-ing god I was overjoyed

2 RespuestasNah bruh. Aint nothin worse than being up 3-0 in survival and they come back. Nothing worse than being up 4-0 in countdown and the other team come back. Even if YOUR on the top of the leaderboard. It happens. U overcome and on to the next match. Thats how i did it. I can HONESTLY say comp is a lil easier this season than last season. In my opinion.
