Do you think Bungie will give every weapon a place?
Currently HCs and PRs are the only competitive primaries in the game.
What Scouts lack are maps that justify their use.
What ARs lack is a fast ttk in their optimal range which is the shortest of all primary weapons. Which gets them outgunned by HCs and PRs in CCQ quite easily.
