So this is pretty cool I’ll admit but what about the people that have spent $200-$300 buying everything? I mean I don’t mean to sound like a whimpering dog but I want compensated somehow. I spent money on stuff that’s now free. EDIT:::::: So you guys hold very good points, I never thought of these things! You all have officially changed my mind! Thank you!

Sorry, you paid for the game and that was final. They might give old players some in-game reward, but you're not getting your money back.
-
Something would’ve been nice. Not asking for free Shadowkeep or anything but a free Annual pass seems decent enough or a Veteran bundle which contains: Exclusive Quest which leads to exclusive exotic, exclusive ship/sparrow/shader/emblem and perhaps a limited time event exclusive to these players. DLC’s shouldn’t be handed out to players for free to gain a bigger player base without acknowledging the current playerbase as this is a huge 🖕.
-
If you tried to sell the game you now own at a game shop second hand they would likely not buy it from you or only pay you a couple of dollars. Giving an old game away for free is not much different. I think it’s a great way to bring in new players. I also like the fact you admitted you were perhaps wrong and the responses changed your mind. Well done.

When a movie is first released, and you pay full price to see it, does that mean a theater should refund you the difference when it moves to the cheap seats? Any entertainment product or experience you purchase is going to become cheaper or possibly free over time.

Editado por Merx: 6/16/2019 10:16:28 PMYea I'm annoyed that people are getting content for free but it's old content and it will attract more players back here and also they still need to pay for endgame contact from forsaken onwards. So I'm okay with it
-
Well you know how your old phone is worth basically nothing when the new model comes out, well same thing, and people still have to buy season pass and forsaken as well as the new content, your compensation is there will be more guardians coming in and you won’t have to look everywhere for people to do stuff or wait half an hour for a pvp match, also d2 vanilla wasn’t worth a cent compared to what we have now and your contribution from the copy you brought went to bungo so they could save it up split from activision and finally cater to the people who live this game and want it to return to the once awesome glory days known as destiny 1 😎

You spent money on something that becomes free a year after. You don't ask for a refund because the local Pizza hut gave free pizza to the homeless and you had to buy one do you?
-
That's the price of being an early adopter. You cough up the money to have something first, or you wait several years and get it for free. Do you complain when people see a movie free on cable after you paid to see it in theaters 2 years earlier?
-
I've had my money's worth and if it gets more people playing, then go for it.
-
I bought everything day one. I'm fine with it. Some aren't. The content is old now, and only worth about $100 when it was brand new. This will help the Destiny Community and make things more simple in the future.
-
Meh. It's great for everyone really.
-
No disrespect.. but if you lined up to pay full price for content that bungie is giving away for free that's on you. Take it as a lesson learned and dont pre order.

Editado por Corrick II: 6/16/2019 4:34:12 AMYou got all that time playing Destiny. That’s all I can say. I get the point of posts like these and I can understand where they come from but that’s just how the business works. I bought an old plasma TV once (it was new at the time) for around $1400. A while later I think I saw it for like $500. I was pissed but then I realized that’s just the tech market. Old stuff gets marked down, new stuff comes in. And I got some pretty good TV time with it. Just appreciate the time you had, and if they give us an emblem or something that’s cool too.

Bungie already have our money... bungie hope their ‘free to play’ will drag unsuspecting new players into their ‘pay per packet’ new business model.
