Keep it the way it is - See you in the Crucible

Good morning, This is my first time posting and I felt I would express my opinion here as well the video linked as I am using the Thorn quest as an example in this situation. This topic may have already been covered, if so please close this thread. I think Bungie could start implementing an alternate way to achieve some of these exotics without having to enter into pvp aspects of the game. Although I will state that the Thorn has primarily been used as a top tier pvp weapon since Destiny 1, so I can understand this particular quest line involving some pvp. That being said though, if you read through a lot of the comments on videos like this you will find people not wanting to even attempt acquiring certain exotics because their quest lines involve a some what of a grindy experience in what is in my personal opinion one of the worst pvp environments I have ever played in (emphasis on personal opinion here). The constant unbalanced games, weapons, one shot abilities, machine guns, shot guns, too much heavy ammo, under powered warlocks, op titans/hunters, pathetic map design with map fatalities in a moon physics game where every surface is apparently an ice rink (then equipping 2/3 classes with superior jumping capabilities and leaving warlocks with well... warlock jumps). I could go on but that will do for now. Not everyone bought destiny to shoot other guardians in the face, we bought it to shoot aliens. So i suggest a pve path and a pvp path with the option of being able to pick and choose certain quest steps. E.g if you didn't want to grind 50 head shot in the crucible there was an option of 100 Yellow bar enemies killed with precision damage or something, find a way to balance it. Both should be just as challenging as each other, both just as grindy as the other, both coming to the same reward in the end. This eliminates people being turned away from taking these types of quest lines, also at the same time might encourage a few more annual pass sales with people being given the option of choosing how they can acquire certain items. Thoughts?
