Hello Guardians. I want to write a thought that crossed my mind recently. And that thought is the forgiveness of handcannons in pvp(to be specific agreesive and adaptive frames) I am curious if we change the headshot damage of agreesive frames to 95 instead of 91 (making it a 1 head 2 body kill) and from 70 to 75 for adaptive frame handcannons(making them a 2 head 1 body kill). I think that would be a great balancing of the archetypes where the lightweight frames are the have the fastest time to kill but require 3 headshot for a kill, adaptive frames can kill in less headshots but have a slower ttk than lightweights and the agreesive frames would require the least amount of headshots for a 3 shot kill(that being 1). I think this change would really benefit handcannon users (like myself) and would not change any ttk for any of those weapon frames whatsoever but make each of them different in terms of forgiveness if you not hit only headshots but you still hit your target. I am playing destiny since House of Wolfes and always preferred handcannons in pvp so I am always thinking about changes like these. This change is kinda similar of how handcannon archetypes were in D1 but not to the point that adaptive frames need only 1 headshot for a 3 shot kill. Anyway thank you for taking the time to look into this ramble about handcannon forgiveness in pvp. I hope Bungie sees this and at least talk about it and respond to this idea. TyKyoshi out! this sounds good, considering where the game is going into the feature all weapon archetypes should have their own distinc features at a base level. Bring on the RPG !!!

Increasing body shot damage would avoid 2 tapping lower resilience guardians and still be able to put it at a more reliable 1 body 2 headshot kill.

So, I would rather increase the body shot damage slightly on high impacts. 95 crit makes for 2 taps on low resilience which is currently commonly run. Good damage would be 91 crit 54 body. Everything else seems solid, but a minor stability buff to all 150s and 140s would be good .

True Vanguard posted a video talking about 140s and it shows that he has the same feelings toward adaptive frame handcannons, that they should 2 head 1 body

If 110s did 95 to the head that’s a two tap on some resistance levels not a good change.
