Remember when Bungie made one of the best game series ever made. Remember coming home to pop in halo and just having fun, problemfree. Remember having a blast gunning down the covenant and flood in the campaign. Remember going into forge making or playing some of the coolest player made maps. Remember listening to the amazing soundtrack. Remember playing an awesome multiplayer experience that was mostly balanced and relied on skill more than luck. Remember when Bungie was respected.

Old bungie is gone but not forgotten

#Halo still exists...
-
I actually think something missing that is crucial to the Halo games is the music. The Halo 4-5 composer sucked. I really hope that Marty comes back for either Infinite or D3.

Editado por H1vac: 6/6/2019 5:37:38 AMThe forge was my life. My instrument was the binary rifle. My targets were my friends heads. Black, white, purple, blue, none of it mattered. My impossible sniping nests proved vital to my success. I became death.
-
I miss when Halo didn’t have loot boxes.
-
I've got good news, they all still exist. Go play them.

343 is taking 5-6 years making infinite. No possible way they’ll fuсk up the next one.

Editado por cRaZyT101: 6/4/2019 11:16:02 PMI remember the first group of friends I made on Xbox Live being from a game of Snowbound on that FFA playlist that only new players could play. They were from Britain, I still have one of them active on my friends list, though I haven't spoken to him in years. I remember the very first friend I made, a random who sent me a random friend request after I won a FFA game on Guardian. I've never heard his voice, nor have we played since that day. We're still on each other's friends list. I remember the two clans I was in. I remember having to structure my emblem to signify my "ranking" within both of them. One of them fell apart due to bickering from the upper echelon, though since I never really bothered with clan politics I was relatively unaffected. The other was just with some friends that have since gone offline. I believe the first was called XGO? Xtreme Gaming Online, I believe. I remember many friends simply disappearing, never to get online again. One of them was in the military for I believe England, I wonder if he's alright? I remember the modded gametypes, the modded maps, and the modded pictures and the videos showcasing mods only developer kits were capable of playing. I remember doing my upmost best trying to get as many gametypes and maps as I could. My personal favorite was a FFA Forge. I remember finally making it to skill level 45 in Lone Wolves- the only playlist I managed to get that far in since the friends I played with weren't always that great (we all preferred custom games). Ranked Grifball would've been the next... Had I had the time that weekend. In speaking of custom games, I remember enjoying those with over 10,000 custom games on record. Halo on Halo, Fatkid, Jenga, hiding from Michael Myers/Michael Jackson, D-Day, Smear the Queer, Predator, Ghostbusters, Mexican Run, Trash Compactor, etc. I remember destroying a team of B.net players in Grifball that had Spartan kein against me. I remember destroying in Grifball due to my host. I remember being fascinated with the "ghosts of Halo" even though looking back at it was rather silly. A strange phenomenon to be sure, though. I remember the BNGL bashes, the only time I ever really played alongside fellow B.net members. Yet it was such a good feeling, to be a part of a community with friendly competition. I miss those BNGL bashes. Lots of memories from Halo 3 alone. That isn't including the B.net memories made along the way. Edit: Looking at my fileshare from the old site... I didn't realize that some of my pictures had that many downloads! Learn something new everyday...

There’s no way Halo infinite is gonna be as good as Halo used to be in the 2000’s. Halo 4 and 5 should be evidence of how their next game will be. I’m seeing people talking up infinite like it’s gonna be 2004 for the first time. I’d sooner trust rumors over promises and descriptions from studios. Hoping for the best but expecting the worst.

Looking back, I don't think the game itself mattered as much as just playing with friends.
-
Good memories of a time when I cared a lot, but I don't miss it
-
Halo 5's multiplayer is friggin awesome. Just sayin
-
I've never played the games, which only cements my sorrow that they no longer make the games, and I missed out on a generation where Bungie actually cared about their costumers. ...Now I'm depressed.
-
I don’t miss halo because I just go and play it. Halo reach is coming to MCC as well as PC.
-
I respect Bungie...
-
I played H5 today for the first time in weeks. It's fun, but I'm ready for the next game to be released.
-
"Bungie's culture is a slightly irreverent attitude, and not corporate, bureaucratic, or business focused" - Marty O'Donnell 2007 I miss that Bungie. I still remember the feeling of Halo. The game was so much more. I remember getting cozy on a cold winter night just to play with my friends and have a great time. I believe in Bungie now, It will get better. Yet, how can we forget the old Bungie?
-
-
I went back and replayed Halo recently. Halo 5 under 343 is better than what we all remember Bungie Halo being. Bungie did stupid shit back in the day too, we just forget
-
Playing it now
-
I still play Halo 5 and enjoy the hell out of it. Customs games are amazing.
-
I don’t think anyone misses that game. Who even remembers Halo? Like, did anyone even play that game?

Editado por N8dawg2022: 6/4/2019 2:17:36 PMI literally grew up playing Halo 3 with my Dad. Man those were good times.
Woof Bark
Well MCC is hitting PC what looks like semi-soon, and the Xbox version is still decently populated. It something, at least.
-
I remember sitting at the loading screen for ten minutes whenever someone quit I remember shitty custom games hosted and populated by the local preschool I remember getting called the other f-word in BTB
good times
