The strong is one of the best exotics to ever come to the swording community and I would like to see more things like this. Although it's not fair that only Titans had it so I would propose that this will be a universal exotic like aeons or the crest of alphas. This is a very great exotic although I would like to establish the pros and cons of the exotic and how can we better improve it overall. First the pros No ammo drained on blocked shots. This is amazing because you solve the ammo economy swords or heavy weapons experience which is the insane inconsistency of them. Whenever you go on long durations of ammo droughts you can always have an effective sword. You can leave your sword at one bullet or slice and always have it there whenever you need to since you never lose ammo when block so the tip is never to use your last sword swipe unless you actually need to just save it for blocking. Another pro is the fact you gain an increase in movement speed when blocking. Now I have seen many reviews on this exotic and most of them is just not good enough because they lack the experience with swords. If you didn't know but the higher the mobility you have with stronghold the more you are able to move while blocking. So if you're using very low mobility it's hard to even realize the increased movement speed but if you're running the higher mobility it's phenomenal how fast you move while blocking. This is a life-changing and very helpful because you basically become a brick wall when blocking very strong until the wind blows basically. Also, run very high mobility with stronghold. I run a 8mobilty 7 resilience and 4 recovery. The final pro is the healing obviously don't need to explain why. Although this also the make or break of this sword. Cons: (The gauntlet don't have many cons it's usually the sword) One con is you get no other benefits when blocking. When the healing doesn't Regan as much as your health you will seem to be in trouble because if you didn't know the more damage you take the more you health get and vise versa you get it. I would like to add something else like maybe increase damage or resist when getting a perfect block but this buff will be very brief like maybe to swipes, one adaptive frame uppercut, and slice, or a whole crownsplitter slam if it's increased damage. If it's resistance than let it be 5 or 7 seconds of resistance Bungie lucky number but if that's too much than 5. I suggest these ideas because in the Gambit an invader can take two slashes from a sword even a whole crownsplitter slam with the armor. So when blocking get that increase damage or resist let's you kill the invader I will talk about the changes I have made in another post this getting long. Con 2: Again it's not the gauntlets it's the sword. In another post, I said to make the raise to guard quicker because there be times where you guard and yet you die because the game didn't register it as a guard which essential means your dead or you flying into a wall. Con 3 The window in which the perfect guard perk activate is very short and almost require perfection in some situation or beforehand prediction. This is bad because of no matter what action is not faster than reaction. I'm not staying make where I block and 5 seconds after blocking something shoots me a and I get my health back just increase a little bit so won't have to know every timing on ultra slams, and fire rate on vandals and hobgoblins and basically all the ads and the game and let's not talk about crucible that's for later. Lastly, another con is this is not a universal exotic. Having this only on a Titan does not make me unique because of I main a titan but bad for my fellow comrades who want to use a sword without these gauntlets these are game-changing for the sword enthusiast to bad people gotta make a Titan experience it and people don't want to do that. If they can be for everyone than make warlocks and hunters exotic gear that is around like Stronghold. Feel bad for the people out there that's not a titan but yeah that's the pros and cons of stronghold or the sword if you really wanna think about.
