I don’t have a big problem with most of the nerfs but the SOG doesn’t make sense. You already nerfed how many blades go out making it still a good super but not great. Since that nerf it’s very rare to get even half of my super energy because it just doesn’t kill enough as when it first came out. Now you wanna nerf the SOG. Why? It rarely gives you back your super even with a large amount of kills. If you wanna make it a third of the super energy back but increase amount of blades that would make more sense and make it a useful exotic. Hell, even getting back all abilities at full when thrown would be better than what it does now.
I’m using the 6 shooter gold gun now since I can actually kill a fair amount without any exotic to help it. Also leave my Orpheus Rigs alone. Why would you nerf this after having it pretty much the same since launch. I’m not opposed to nerfs but we need to make sensible changes so they still feel exotic.
Edit: The problem is most people want one of three things from an exotic armor.
1) a stronger super
2) makes super last longer
3) or gives me my next super faster.
Anything else is very situational at best or practically useless at worst

I feel you get more super the more DAMAGE you do, and less for KILLS. Which is why you can hit one boss and get four seconds of recharge, and kill 10+ red bars and get maybe two seconds.
-
THEY DON'T NERF GALANOR BUNGIE JUST MAKE IT CAN'T GET FULL SUPER BACK, oke?
-
If u don't run teather in pve then u r a scrub

Editado por WulfPak666: 5/26/2019 3:53:45 PMI dunno man, if you use it against bosses you basically get 75% of your super back. BB does stupid damage so why are you wasting it on trash mobs?

Solid X-Files episode.
-
Ursa Furiosa is in the same boat...
-
You don’t deserve full super for getting 2 kills with a panic, spreadable super. It needs all the nerfs.
-
It’s made for bosses rather than adds morgeth gives you instant super and all gambit bosses just gotta aim
-
don't forget to mention ursa, the shards of titans
-
Its not totally useless. Just use it on bosses. Shards of galanor doesn't need kills to refill the super. Don't waste it on adds unless theres 10 or more. The super itself doesn't feel as strong as it use to be but shards of galanor is still decent.
-
they need to recreate the exotic perk on every super energy returning exotic, nerfing them into oblivion to make the game more challenging does them dirty theres no other way to say it
-
Bull I've seen recent game play in Gambit of constant blade barrage. That and skull definitely needed these nerfs they literally take all difficulty away.
-
When Destiny 2 first launched, Orpheus Rigs already only granted a very small amount of super. Back then, people used them, but the amount of super you got back for using them was abysmally low. so much so, that when we got the go fast update, and our power was increased, they buffed that exotic so that it returned a super faster. it kinda sounds like they are going back to the old way, and to me, that sounds backwards. they are going to make the stuff as bad as it was when it launched. we hated it then, and they think were gunna love it now? dosent make sense.
-
Orpheus is getting nerfed due to power creep the exotic buffs the super so much you can ignore mechanics (e.g anything to do with dealing with a hoard of enemies) same reason my skull of dire ahamkara is getting nerfed.
-
Yep, that’s why I don’t Hunter.
-
Ursas are worse, but shards are so inconsistent. Neither deserve a nerf.
-
It’s actually a super balanced exotic. If Bungie has decided that skull, rig, Phoenix are too powerful then shards are in a good place. As mentioned by other replies, shards returns the most energy on major hits and kills. I get 75% of my super back consistently now after realizing that.
-
Ursa furiosa is even more useless. It doesnt work with well of radiance, but you know it's a titan thing so who cares.
-
Yeah, I just played Blades yesterday and rusty as I am, it just doesn't feel the same as it used to. And of course, Shards dropped for me yesterday too, thanks pseudo-RNG. :P I went back to St0mp335 and Way of the Trapper just for passives in running and gunning. Most supers feel underwhelming these days, which I suspect is because Bungie are experimenting with balancing PvE and PvP together, in more open world settings, for D3. :P Great idea and all, but I'm not sure why we have to be the beta testers for this, and unpaid at that.

Since getting it about 3 weeks ago I've had 0 issue using it. You're supposed to hit enemies. And it functions better when hitting majors and ultras. Also not sure when they reduced the number of projectiles, couldn't find anything about that.
-
You must land EVERY knife (on a boss) then you regain ~60% back. Kills dont matter and missing just 1 knife reduces that 60% to like 40%.
-
Sad hunter, how do big nerfs feel? Don’t worry though you still have the best subclasses.
-
I believe the twab wording was bad. I don’t think either are getting a nerf
-
I think where it is right now its where its supposed to be. Hit the big guy get 70-80% super back. Do not use it on trash mobs unless theres like 10 of them. No need for another nerf to it, same like Ursa (its trash anyways).
-
They didn't change how many knives or volleys are thrown out, only the total damage spread between individual hits and explosions. They tipped the scales from being weighted mostly towards hits, now to being mostly weighted towards the explosions.
-
Glad I’m not the only one who has noticed this.
