I agree. It should be an unruly unweildly beast of a thing, but it shouldn't choke shots at random with a spike that could down a large beast. A spike that in the very least would graze a moving target when your cross hairs are painting their chest on what you expect to be your third successful paced shot. There's a reason people are treating it like a cover shooter when using it though, or rushing and following up with secondary. I loved First Curse from D1. Understand the thrill of purely outgunning by gunskill alone. DoT doesn't scream that, but Thorn has missed the expected mark for me and others. If I'm wrong, then I'm wrong, cause it is precisely where they intended. They have access to the graphs and numbers for usage and returns. I don't. If they tell me it is preforming as intended, I won't mention it again, but I'm sure they are witnessing the debate.
Yeah, 100% of my friends, (who played D1 before hand) hate what the thorn is currently. I’m just a forsaken baby so i couldn’t truly compare the two. I do understand why people hate the current state of it. Unruly and hard to control guns don’t usually receive love. If they could make it accurate while keeping the feeling of kick back i’d be more than happy.
