Icebreaker in D1 clearly demonstrated why infinite ammo was problematic. With the Whisper in D2 it seems as though the devs believed that raising the bar to ‘infinite ammo, but only through skilled use’ would be a workable solution, but given the design decisions cited in the video they ended up turning the weapon into one that is primarily used in low risk situations, thus negating the ‘skilled use’ caveat. And full super bar regen from exotic armors should never have been a thing to begin with. It should have been capped at somewhere between 25 and 35% from the day the armors were introduced. If you want a crazy power fantasy where you can stomp all over everything in the game regardless of skill level, go play a single-player offline game. (΄◉◞౪◟◉`)
