I was lauching into a competitive match with my friend and received a beet error. I lost comp points and got a warning from Shaxx. I lost my comp streak of 3 and I'm kinda pissed off rn.

Beet is a client side jitter error which means there was just too much instability between whomever was host and your connection. This is most often caused when you as a player are utilizing a WiFi connection and there is packet loss between your console/PC and your router which then that packet loss cannot be corrected enough though lag comp to the person who is host. Unfortunately, if you disconnect from a competitive match for ANY reason, you will be handed a big L and have your streak removed. This is to prevent people from getting 'network' problems when they are losing matches.
