SCREW YOUR MATCHMAKING
Destiny 2s PVP matchmaking system is utterly worthless and completely incompetent. I haven't had a single 'close' match in about 30 games. It's just 1 side steamrolling the other, all solo getting matched against full teams, getting matched against full teams without the right number of people at the START, people leaving and NEVER being replaced. There's absolutely NO balance to it, at all.
You put pinnacle weapons behind PVP objectives but completely fail to balance weapons and classes, and then to top if off can't design a BASIC system worth two s*%ts.

2 RespuestasI get that there are solo players, I solo all other activities for the most part, except Comp. If you're going into Comp solo, you're intentionally putting yourself at a disadvantage. So I can't take this seriously when people complain that they lost to a team. Just use LFG, it's not that hard.

Bungie needs to add a solo queue QP option, it’s so hard to get a fair match in QP. The majority of games I get stuck in are either vs teams or match in progress, down 50 points and the whole other teams has supers. QP is harder than comp at times. Takes the fun out of playing, you can’t even improve your skill when your just getting steam rolled

2 RespuestasThis is complaining I can get behind, for the love of god they need to introduce Elo based matchmaking, this game is ridiculously bad at lining up balanced games. It’s so dumb, I know that skill based matchmaking would mean the top 5 percent would always be playing the same people but you know what, that’s the way it should be.

1 RespuestaFewer people are playing so they have to work with what they've got. When the playerbase gets too low, if you're going to match full teams with other full teams only you wind up with the same teams playing each other over and over.

1 RespuestaComp is for premade teams only .. the matchmaking just doesn’t work with that few people .. plus the game modes are horrible .. countdown is 11 rounds and getting nothing apart from -60 points most of the time

NEW ONE FOR THE LIST - get stuck on ship loading screen... nothing happening, get kicked with error code "Oops! You left a competitive match" DID I?! DID I REALLY BUNGIE?! Your own system can't even tell the difference between quitting and being kicked from one of YOUR OWN ERROR CODES

Let's also not forget, Bungie has Peer to Peer networking, which "works" absolutely abysmally in a collapsing population. They basically have to match you against any remaining players regardless of their connection quality or where they are located in the world (have fun playing with the UN of players from around the world). Lag and constant disconnections of people in the game will be the new normals.

Here's another example of how utterly useless this system is - 4 randoms, 2 clan pairs, OBVIOUS matchmaking would be 1 clan pair with 2 randoms to spread out the clan teams, right? F***ING WRONGGGGG, puts BOTH pairs onto 1 team, all 4 randoms onto the other. Completely and utterly incompetent system design.

A lot of people that play in full teams are playing that way because they’re bad. Inspect them and if it’s a full pinnacle team, just leave.

2 RespuestasIt takes mins to find a f*cking match. This is how I know this game is dying. I spend 3 mins finding a gambit match just to have 2 teammates quit right away... 3rd game in a row I have a teammate quit. I just want to finish my exotic quest

2 RespuestasAre there problems in matchmaking??? Yes! This has been a small issue for quite some time. However. These issues are compounded MUCH more now because the player base is so low You can’t blame that all on the matchmaking program right now. Simply put, there isn’t much to match you with... so it’s putting people together to make games, or you’d be sitting there for 15 minutes or more waiting for the matchmaking you desire.

6 RespuestasThe only pinnacle weapons locked behind a pvp objective are the PINNACLE PVP WEAPONS. Stop complaining about them. The definition of pinnacle is “the most successful point; the culmination.” Meaning you have to win to get there don’t complain about pvp objectives on a pvp pinnacle gun.

Blame Bunjee for the other guy who's just off from work and half asleep getting the power drop for the day and couldnt gice a single shit. Blame bunjee for the [b]ONE GUY[/b] on the winning team thats carrying the team while he complains that his team sucks. All because there is no sbmm. Or very little. And why? Can we blame bunjee? I think not.

Quick tip: if the matchmaking circle shoots up really quick, you’re most likely gonna play with a Fireteam. Obviously, it shouldn’t happen at all, but it’s a good preventative method.

MM is ok right now minus the fact that teams still get to queue against stacks but player base is already low enough that nothing can be done about that right now. It already takes 10 mins to MM comp most of the time on ps4, which has the highest population. Currently MM in QP is totally random. Como matching is based on the highest glory on your team.

As a solo player I suggest If you see full team leave matchmaking or leave the game. Why are you wasting your time?
