Glass Needles
Bungie,
I’ve come to make a bargain. I am willing to pay $4.99 for an 8 pack of Glass Needle. Figure out what that translates to for other purchasable options. The caveat is Glass Needles MUST unlock that peice of equipment to change it’s perks. They must also be obtainable in game.
Unlocked equipment. Once unlocked with a glass needle you would then use 1 masterwork core and 100 world resource to choose the perk you want in whichever slot it’s allowed. Different perks cost different resource materials.
Obtaining Glass Needle in game.
First make them available as a reward for completing a bounty from Xur. Make the Xur bounty cost a combination of masterwork core and legendary shards.
Second make them available as a reward from an eververse bounty costing a combo of dust and legendary shards.
Anyway. Let me know what y’all think.

I'd be down for them putting Glass Needles in game, swap out some of the masterwork cores sources to give Glass Needles instead. Also remove the cores from infusion and rename back to masterwork.

Spend REAL MONEY to reroll and make better exotics? Yeaaaah, no. Bring Glass Needles back but NOT like that.

I dont think paying real money for them is the way but a way to reroll exotics would be a massive QoL improvement imo.
