And see how they like the enhancement core economy.
As I see it the joy of getting a cool weapon will be very shortly overwhelmed by the constant need to put on a blue that's 20 light higher, oh what fun...
Thanks for the comments everyone, although I may not agree with all of them...
Just want to reply to some of the people who think that you should only infuse when you are nearly at max level.
If you do this you are not using what you want to use and you do not look like you want the character to look for some time and this is not what we have been told all along.
"You should be able to play the way you want to play", well RNG and the core economy don't exactly help. And add to that the time you may have available to play, especially for people who have kids or work full time etc.
People like to identify with their character somewhat, for example j liked the Cabal themed armour for the titan and then they changed the armour system and refused to retcon the D2 armour with perks. Astonishing. This will lose people from the game, and while hard core people will say "good get lost" you can't be successful without the volume of players so you have the income to develop a new version, think about that when you hope the new version will be for you, if there is one...

The game gives you everything you need to get to 640 light. Where we are at now going from 650 to 700 you should ONLY be infusing duplicate items that only cost glimmer or the one or two exotics you truly love (hence it being an impactful decision when infusing your gear). Once you get to 700 this is where the infusion end game happens. But Nitro, what about that full set of Prodigal Armor I use? My titan looks awesome wearing this and I really would like to infuse this so I don't look like a space hobo. The time will come when you can play dress up again once you reach that 700 light. If your infusing every piece of new gear into old gear you will run out of cores fast. My rule of thumb is to infuse once I am 15 levels above my previous level on my favorite weapons and gear. The next time I will infuse my Skull fort is when I reach an overall level of 690. My favorite weapons were only infused after I reached 675. This is how I play. This is my opinion. Make Destiny yours while understanding the rules of the world of which you play in.

Just leveled a character up from below 300 to 675 in a week. who cares what your wearing till you hit max light anyways get to a point to where your established and like the gear you have at a semi high level the worry about rolls and gear. I mean I am sure you played and or have seen the game diablo played this is very similar and honestly way easier. YOU ARE NOT MEANT TO BE A BADASS until you get near the highest light level when comparing to other guardians and also at level 50 you can now jump straight to 640. So Play and enjoy and if your a casual player just be patient.

Why do you think the investment team hasn't been doing their job? meaning looking for ways to where the player base plays the game grinding for loot instead of wasting a gamers time having them grind for material knowing this is supposed to be a loot based game. I'm going to copy and paste this next part because I don't feel like typing it. I found this really interesting especially when some gamers say this game isn't lacking loot... With the Annual Pass Bungie did not give new gear to the vanguard vendors like they always did in D1 when new DLC was released so 9 sets of gear is missing from the game. If you add the planet vendors I believe that is 6 vendors that should have been updated with new gear. so that's 18 sets of gear Dreaming City, I haven't played this season yet, so don't know if it got new gear. The raids did not get new gear, in fact, we only get 1 set from what raids we have now because the Raids are not like D1 to were you had normal and hard mode raids, so with a 4th raid, there will be 12 sets of gear not added to the raids. Factions were removed so that's 3 sets of gear missing from the game. Trials removed so that's another 3 sets of gear missing from the game. Edit: [b]That adds up to 46 sets of gear not added to the game -1 if Dreaming City got new gear. That's not including Imo that Bilnd Well and EP should have gotten new gaer, making it 48.[/b] I only gave an example when it comes to gear, I could go on about random rolls, perks, weapons etc... that is lacking in this entire game when it comes to acquiring loot with the lovely RNG that is far worse off then D1. So no, they will laugh thinking you're crazy for asking them to start a fresh character.

9 RespuestasRegardless of what you think of Warframe, the community managers do a fantastic job of hosting frequent streams, playing with randoms from the streams, fielding questions, and actually showing they play their own game with some excitement about loot drops/things they are trying to collect. They also have no apparent issue talking about bugs or other game oddities like a real player, not just spewing marketing hype. Just saying bungie community managers could take some lessons.

7 RespuestasI don't think i've played since just after the launch of season of the Drifter. The power surge bounties were a bunch of crap, sure they gave you 640 LL items BUT they were rare tier garbage that were inferior to my armour. In order for me to benefit from this "surge" i need to infuse the blue crap into the gear i actually like, it actually cost more cores to use a blue for infusion too (3 cores to use a blue for infusion) which would require 21 cores for me to boost everything to 640 so i quit. I play games to relax and you know......for fun, when i play Destiny it feels like a 9-5 job because you're doing the same repetitive crap every session just to increase your LL by a single point. Once upon a time Destiny was open to everyone, with Destiny 2 that's changed and not for the better.

1 RespuestaI think they're well aware that it sucks. I think that what they're currently doing is monitoring community anger, and seeing if it's worth it to continue "getting away with it." They know removing cores from infusion sucks, but they also now we'll all jump 10 or more light levels as soon as they're removed, and that speeds up how quickly we're able to "enjoy new content."

Just goes to show, not everyone likes the same thing.

A longitudinal study of a full time employee’s experiences through Destiny 2 from campaign to endgame would be the kind of ballsy task I’d respect from Bungie if they undertook it. They’ve got all the data of when we play and how often. They should assign so somebody not directly involved in development to play an average amount of hours per week and record their experiences during/after every play session.
