Lower the damage resistance for supers and maybe people will challenge them instead of running away. They should be powerful, but absolutely shouldn't feel like free kills like they do now.

Why? Lol. We have a choice. Jumping off the map is also bad too so I don't know why you want to implement a more harsher punishment for those who just want to commit suicides rather than face a charging guardian with super active. Jumping off the map doesn't even win the game either, most of the time as for me.

when im playing survival and the match is 3-0 the other team and it hasn't even been close all game, i intentionally kill myself as many times as possible because at that point, i just want to be done with the match. And, since you can't quit without penalty, this ends the match much faster. Sorry. I'm not for a suicide penalty until they make matchmaking better somehow...Unless that penalty is taking an extra life off of the total!

Some will argue that intentionally jumping off the map is a smart, legitimate strategy/tactic, seeing as there's no in-game penalty(in slayer-type modes at least). Some others will argue those people don't have an ounce of testosterone in them(especially in the heat of the moment, we all rage at some point), or any morals or competitiveness whatsoever. Just understand that if one person does it, now everyone's allowed to do it. Good luck getting kills with Spectral Blades(and most other Supers really, but SB's most popular by a landslide) when the entire enemy team would rather hit an actual death barrier. Good luck making use of Gwisin Vest when there's literally 0 chance of you ever getting a kill now. How's it feel to have a completely useless and wasted Exotic, not just Super, now? What I described is actually a pretty common situation in high Comp., not just a hypothetical. Regardless of your stance, I think most can agree that when the best strategy for winning is to effectively not play the actual game, that's a serious problem in a mode where losses take away progress. You should definitely lose at least a point each time you suicide. If points are tied to kills on your opponents, but you can't actually get any because they'd rather die by their own hand, how exactly are you supposed to win? It's a simple answer: you don't. At least not if you don't start employing their same "strategy", and end the game by letting it go to time with around half the total score, and everyone having a negative K/DA or efficiency. Because that's [b][i]clearly[/i][/b] what defines a competitive mode.

Honestly nothing is more satisfying than jumping off the map when a spectral blades scrub is coming at you. I jump off the map several times a game depending on how many spectral the other team has. Sorry, nubs

Simple solution. Remove Clash from Comp. Replace Control with Lockdown. Boom, jumping off the map now won't help you win.
