Still excited for the next season but, No mention of new crucible maps? No mention of fixes to competitve playlist? No mention of a new mode to replace trials? While the changes to gambit, new activities and gear look great, as mainly a crucible player, I felt more could have addressed about general pvp. I'm hoping there are still players out there that enjoy Destiny 2 pvp and would like to see it improve. Some thoughts: - There needs to be more incentive to jump into the competitive playlist, playerbase above fabled is tiny. Queue times can be very long (I've had 2 mongoose errors in a row at one point) and you'll even match the same people many times in a row. - Balance changes need to be more frequent and need to address more issues (One Eyed Mask was starting to be a problem late forsaken early black armory but was only addressed in season of the drifter etc.) - The crucible meta is currently revolving around supers; using many super mods and spamming supers rather than guns is currently very effective (supers are currently very strong, can be acquired very quickly and are not necessarily very difficult to use). - The crucible is due for a fresh set of maps and also a fix to prevent players playing on the same map consecutively (not uncommon to get the same map 3 times in a row). - Competitive playlist may be difficult for players to get into as everyone has nf or luna. (Maybe set up a very long quest like redrix to get luna only but not nf?) - Glad to see a few patches ago that theyre bringing other weapons up so they can compete in the meta, more needs to be done to allow gun variety like this. Hoping the crucible will be addressed more in the coming weeks :)
