I don’t understand the hate this community has towards streamers. Other gaming communities idolize and look up to these kinds of players, so what’s wrong with this community? Is it the entitlement? Is it just blatant stupidity? Are Destiny streamers and youtubers actually scummy jerks? I legit don’t understand...

Personally I'd rather work my 9-5 than play video games 50-60 hours per week. To me they are like street performers begging for money. Without people literally giving complete strangers money, they would not be able to make a living.

To start I dont watch twitch but I watch youtube. I zero issue with supporting ppl that provided value to me. Aztecross truevanguard datto. Cross just seems like a nice guy and is entertaining. TV helped me become a way better crucible player. And datto makes amazing guides.

While I think a lot of destiny streamers are idiots, I agree. I’d say it’s mostly jealousy. Who wouldn’t take the opportunity to make money playing video games over a shitty day job.

Their Feefees get hurt because they couldn't figure it out. It's hypocritical because these players will praise fortnite streamers,CoD, etc. It's ridiculous. So much complaining

The problem isn’t the streamers it’s that people have been made to feel like streamers and content creators are the only ones Bungie is really listening to and designing the game for now. Niobe Labs has only emphasized that and I’ve seen the resulting frustration from streamers who not only hate how complicated it is, but who also realize this is only going to make people hate them even more.

Honestly man, I think a lot of it is jealously that these people make a living by playing video games on great hardware. Sure, just like in everything in life there are annoying streamers, but the majority are just gamers who love to game and found a way to make a living off of it.

I’ve thought about this possibility as well. I know there’s a few annoying streamers that I’m not a fan of but most are chill people. Just interesting that this community is like this while others like Fortnite and Cod are not...

Yeah I agree, it's weird. I feel like some people have this blind loyalty to Bungie and will look to blame anyone but them. I love Destiny and spent a lot of time between D1 and D2, but I call a spade a spade. People really sitting here defending this puzzle for Niobe Labs as some type of fun DLC content are just lying to themselves. Instead of just saying Bungie really messed up here, this isn't what the player base wants, they call people entitled or blame the streamers for some odd reason lol.
