5 valor resets in season 4 not counting for redrix broadsword quest step.
I grind'ed all of last season to get my 5 valor resets in crucible so i can get my broadsword but couldn't complete my bounties. i completed my last bounty today but its still showing on the last quest step that i need to complete 5 resets. I have had 0 resets in season 3, all of my resets 5 in total where in season 4 and season 5 just started. I did not have a ps4 prior to season 4. How do i get my broadsword?

It is well and truly effed up. Oh and back at it again is also stuck at 3 of 5 with the two resets it should now be 5 of 5.

1 RespuestaGuess what? Bungie tied the newest pinnacle Crucible weapon TO A TRIUMPH. That's exactly what I suggested they do as a solution for their colossal fck up with our Redrix Broadsword quest. And still absolute fckn silence from them. Didn't even acknowledge this thread existed.

This is a joke, the step clearly says "Reset your Valor rank within a single season." this does not specify that it has to be a certain season!!!! i grinded my ass off for this weapon only to be time-gated by stupid bounties! Why have no Devs said about this! I'm pretty sure it wasn't mentioned in TWAB anywhere, this pisses me off so much!

well ain't that a massive spit in the face. there are a lot of things that pissed me off from destiny but this one takes the cake. You have a problem with the game? well screw you, please go to the forums where your issues will be ignored and thrown in the trash can. if it doesn't provide a way for bungie to profit of its not worth their time. and they are not worth my money. good riddance destiny. i am done with this endless and pointless grind and im completely done with shady companies like activision and bethesda

But In (Triumphs) (Crucible) (Seals) I have the (Right back at it again) triumph for 5 valor resets within a single season. Bungie where is my redrix broadsword? I put a hell of a lot of time & patience into grinding for this gun only to screwed by a glitch in the game & as a consequence I have not received the reward. I would like to make an official complaint about this. Is there anywhere that I could do this as I’m extremely unhappy about it. Thanks

2 RespuestasI'm in the same boat, got my 5 resets triumph, stuck on bounties, no Broadsword. I read the TWAB every week so I was aware of the season cut off but it always sounded like as long as we got 5 resets in a season it would retroactively count. Bungie should just change the quest step to be tied to the "Back At It Again" triumph. I mean they changed a quest step for Ace of Spades so why not do it here and make everyone happy?

If it makes anyone feel any better the gun needs a serious buff or some work done to it. Its being outclassed by regular legendary pulse rifles. So as of now the redrix is a not so pinnacle weapon.

You had to have reached that quest step within the season you did the 5 resets. I learned this towards the end of last season so made sure to grind out both crucible pinnacle quests before season end.

5 RespuestasDid you play one more match? You probably had to play one last match in that reset for it to count. As for a lot of weapons. Like Luna’s Howl, I had to play one round [i]IN[/i] Fabled to get it.

9 Respuestas@bungie why on earth would you put 20 crucible bounties towards the end of this quest line? To have the easiest part of the quest time gated at the end. people have lives to tend to and can't put constant play hours in on a daily basis. I for one was lucky enough to grind out this past Thanksgiving and get the 5 resets just to be time gated by the simplest of quest steps, and denied the weapon WT LITERAL F!!! That crucible step should've been step one or not included at all. It's just not right and so wrong.

Yep, me too. I was 1 crucible bounty short before Tuesday. It wants me to reset 5 more valor ranks this season. I thought it would complete since I had 5 reset triumph already completed and quest step isn't specific to current season. I think I may need to walk away for a bit. First time D2 has made me actually pissed.

Could you just confirm that you logged out completely and then back in and the quest still didn't complete? When I finished the quest last season the 5 resets didn't register with the quest until I fully restarted Destiny 2. While there was a lot of information posted to show players the details of the quest line, which really negates any defenses for poor planning of the quest, the step does say "Complete 5 Valor rank resets in a/any season" and does not specifically say "in the current season" so I will admit I would feel pretty upset if the step actually means current season and I lost all my progress because of this. That being said I got 9 resets last season without even making a point to farm bonus Valor weekends, so it's not exactly a big deal to have to get another 5 this season.

1 RespuestaI think the point here is that with this much effort required to do this quest (I was expecting to be done Tuesday) it should have been clearer that the "retroactive" resets wouldn't be retroactive from last season. A lot of people I'm sure don't log into Bungie normally and had no clue the new season was about to start. Myself included. Maybe a notice in the quest line?

11 RespuestasFirst: you didn't grind all last season - had you, you would have Redrix well before the last day of the season. Second: You get your broadsword by doing all steps and getting 5 resets in the current season - that's right, we are in season 5 and you do not have 5 resets, so grind away. IF I had on the 10th day after the original release of the game I had gotten 5 resets (right off the bat) would a quest that had not been thought of, and came out three seasons later counted towards the last step being "completed" because I had reset 5 times well in advance?? NO, no it shouldn't have counted. Thus you have not done what was needed to get the gun - want a better example. Season 3 offered Redrix Claymore - if you didn't have it by the end of that season it was locked forever. It can not be gotten. You failed to get Broadsword in season 4. as you admitted it is season 5. feel blessed that the quest is still available to you to acquire the weapon. YOU DIDN'T DO THE BOUNTIES in the season, the gun should be totally locked out. hmm...... think about that for a minute or two.

6 Respuestashi! sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the 5 resets step is only retroactive for season 3! this means that if you got your 5 resets in season 4, but did not complete that quest step, you need to get 5 resets this season to complete that quest step. 2 RespuestasMe 2. Quest line says reset 5 times in a season(non specific.) There was no warning that said do your bounties one day earlier. I mean cmon that's what all of us here are hinging on, we did our bounties a day late. And despite what it says in the game, we should have all took to Twitter to understand the rules of the quest line. Clearly.

2 RespuestasI’m on the bounties portion on the quest and had 6 resets 😕... The bounties part of the quest is so -blam!-in stupid how it was implemented. Hopefully his gets fixed because that’s no way to punish people behind some pointless time gating mechanic after we put in all of that work for it. If it was something we could do on our own time then I’d be pissed but would only have myself to be mad it. Having to wait a week just to get some pissy ass bounties done is crazy and should’ve been the LAST step.

Hey I have the exact issue but with the Luna’s howl. I got to fabled before the season ended but I needed 5 more headshots to complete it. And I still don’t have my Luna’s after I finished my step
