I've seen tonnes and tonnes of people from a year ago onwards complaining about Destiny 2 freezing up on them. But no one has described quite the same issue as I have. My game [i]did[/i] used to freeze up in the cutscenes every 5 seconds, stopping the audio and video, making them unwatchable, but for whatever reason, it doesn't seem to do this anymore. What it [i]does[/i] do however, is freeze... ish. I can continue playing, shooting enemies and picking up ammo, but thats about it. The music cuts out, and enemy audio is out of wack, but my gunshots and jump sound effects still work. Speech from NPC's is silent, although subtitles still appear, and at the end of the freezing, all the audio plays at once, overlapping one another. Visually, when I pick up engrams, they simply circle on the side of my screen, not showing me what they are, and the same goes for any pick up (besides patrol mission pickups e.g from killing Psions on Mars). I straight up can't load my inventory, or any menu including the director when these events happen, and they can last a solid 30 seconds, and can come as frequently as every 10. Load times in this game seem rediculously long, sometimes taking 2+ minutes to load into an activity, and sometimes the game entirely properly freezes up, where I can't do anything at all but Alt+F4 and restart. I have absolutely no idea what on Earth is causing these issues. My internet speeds are perfectly fine, and in every other game, my 7200rpm hard-drive performs well and fast. If anyone has any idea what could be causing this, and how to fix it, it'd be greatly appreciated. I love this game, but it's infuriating dealing with this. Also, as a side note, if anyone could point me in the direction of where on Earth I can directly contact Bungie support about this, if I even can, that would be lovely.
