That’s a terrible idea. The reason behind bungie not wanting to have xur sell year 2 exotics is because all of them FEEL like exotics. They’re powerful and those drop rates reflect that. Would you want a 6 stack of sentinels with ursus in crucible? 6 stack shards of galanor? Bungie has done a great job with year 2 exotics in d2 and the drop rates of exotic engrams overall. The only one thing I would like to see fixed is the amount of duplicates you’d get from engrams

you're right. I'd much rather finally see an exotic just to have another prospector drop. I totally don't want new gear or to try out new exotics that compliment our new sub classes. I enjoy not even being excited for exotics as I know disappointment is sure to follow. [spoiler][i]eyes roll so hard they get stuck in the wrong place[/i][/spoiler]

Feel like exotics? If you mean that they exist far outside my reach, sure. If you mean that they feel special or significant when you get them, no. I stopped caring. It's just a drop, like so many legendaries. It's useful or it's not.

All of them feel like exotics. You know this to be a fact or is this just your opinion? See, I see things quite the opposite knowing for a fact that the lot pool is low as hell. IMO it's more to stretch out content by adding a hell of a lot of unnecessary grind for material like a ton of bounties that are only for material.

Casuals ruined the game for D2. In D1 exotic engrams DID NOT even drop normally. It’s only been roughly a month to two months since forsaken was released and you expected everything to be handed on a silver platter to you? In terms of longevity bungie would need forsaken to last until December when black armory comes out and possibly even more time. Giving all the year 2 exotics in the first MONTH of the expansion release takes away the grind which is what caused vanilla D2 to be so bad. They catered to the casuals who wanted everything handed to them

It's a pretty long stretch to separate the two as if they're completely different. And eventually they did add Exotic Engrams to the game. Also I don't want every new exotic in the first month. I want ONE. I HAVEN'T RECEIVED ANY AT ALL. Only dupes. Seeing how the whole point of the annual pass is to add new exotics and other things, not getting a single one before the first parts release is pretty egregious. Even if I happen to get a new one before the December release window there will still be people with even worse rng than me who won't. Unless the 30th patch drastically increases the chance for a new one and not just an extra 5%, some people will still not have any.

And they’re fixing this. Have you been living under a rock? Are you this dense? Exotic drop rates as it is is fine. The only thing that needs changing is the reward that pops from the engram itself. And bungie is fine tuning it so forsaken exotics will drop more frequently. This whole post was useless and a waste of time to complain about

My point is a ton of people don't want for the exotics handed out to them like what bungie did in D2 vanilla. I said that the dupes should AND WILL BE FIXED. I still stand by my statement, this post is useless. I would rather not much want for xur to sell shards of galanor or ursus and everyone running around crucible with it. Cause we all know the concept of this. "everyone gets an op exotic; people cry for nerfs because said people aren't good at the game and have to make everyone else suffer" Vicious cycle and a horrible idea. Bungie has already stated they will not have xur sell forsaken exotics for the sake of keeping forsaken's longevity. AND. AND AND AND. This is why Destiny 2 vanilla SUCKED so much. It's because people complaining like YOU, complain about EVERYTHING. I recently saw a post about nerfing BYGONES. First you're gonna nerf Sleeper, a QUEST GUN, now you're gonna nerf another gun? This is the whole reason why Destiny 2 vanilla felt so barren. NOTHING TO DO AND NOTHING FELT UNIQUE BECAUSE IT PANDERED TO CASUALS. EVERY SINGLE WEAPON AND SUPER AND ARMOR PIECE FELT THE SAME AND NOTHING AT ALL FELT UNIQUE. IF XUR SOLD FORSAKEN EXOTICS, WHICH ARE UNIQUE, PEOPLE WILL CRY FOR NERFS LIKE THEY DID WITH SLEEPER, BLADE BARRAGE, HAMMERS, NOVA WARP, BYGONES, QUEENBREAKER, SHOTGUNS, SPECIAL ECONOMY, PULSE RIFLES, SHOTPACKAGE, FINAL ROUND, SHOTGUNS IN D1, SPECIAL ECONOMY IN D1, SHOULDER CHARGE, SNIPERS, AUTO RIFLES, GOLDEN GUN, BLADEDANCER. Fixing duplicates is important, but not really noticeable if you don't get exotics regularly. I don't think that I have even gotten 5 drops yet.

Whilst I agree that it’s good that we r gonna probably spend most our year 2 completing exotic collections it is a bit ridiculous to not have a single exotic let alone a forsaken one. You have to remember casual players should be entitled to a sense of accomplishment which they may not feel as often as hardcore players because they are not on the game for as long. Remember that Bungie has to cater to all player bases
