I really don’t get why some people are complaining about this event. If you don’t want the Armor then don’t participate.
You still get an extra engram every level up for a few extra items for doing nothing at all.

The same exact reason why some of you complained about Destiny 2 not being destiny 1 oh wait i see we are suppose to shut up and deal with what Bungie feeds us . F that not after a certain select few was magaically given the right to dicate to us all how the game will be at the infamous community summit . those of us who hate this will speak out
