Ikelos Shotgun from flashpoint milestone?
So did anyone know this was possible? I grinded my ass off last week to get this shotgun and through the hassle of setting up the lobby and getting everyone together it was very tiring and frustrating with it's absurdly low drop rate. I FINALLY got one to drop after more protocol completions than I care do admit. Only to have one plopped in my lap today for doing nothing more than completing this weeks flashpoint milestone.
So thanks I guess....for making me waste my time with all that grinding....

You can get it out of the Mars flashpoint milestone after you have acquired it at least once.

My guess is like any other weapon eg Mercury LPonce unlocked it can drop as a reward

3 RespuestasI can do you one better, bro. Farmed last week for 3 shottys (one per character). Then, not 30 minutes after reset, I got 3 (back-to-back, mind you) from 2 flashpoint milestones and one nightfall one. How's that for stellar rng, eh?

Once you get it, it goes into your personal loot pool.

If you already have it, then it gets added to the possible loot pool. If you had not already received it, you would not have a chance at getting it as a drop from your milestone. I got another IKELOS sniper from the FlashPoint milestone.

2 RespuestasIts added to YOUR loot pool once you've 'unlocked' it. It was the same with the Curse of Osiris verse weapons. I got the Ikelos Sniper from Cayde yesterday.

It only took me 25 kills to get mine last week, just imagine my salt if I saw someone found Ikelos SG on my screen while I was in the tower. I guess it's just like the Mercury prophecy weapons dropping from the marcury flashpoint reward. -
Unless you’ve already unlocked it via ep , it’s locked in everyone else’s loot pool . So yeah enjoy !

Once you earn the gun in becomes part of your lootpool. So others can’t get it from milestones but you can since you had already gotten it.

Yep. That’s how the game works. Also how it worked in curse of Osiris. I was so pissed when I got the prophecy weapons, then they showed up in the loot pool. Like, wtf, why are you giving me things I already have? Can they just give me glimmer or shards instead of giving me another Kerak type 2 or high-minded complex? I got it once, why do I keep getting it? [spoiler]🙄[/spoiler]

Same hear, I think once it drops from escalation once it enters the milestone drop pool as well.

I would think it dropped for you due to you getting it already from protocal but i most likely wrong

Makes me think which dick at Bungie thought this was good idea in a game made for the grind.
