Played destiny 1 today

So, after not picking up Destiny 2 for the last 3 weeks I decided to play some destiny 1 today. Man ,I forgot what a good game d1 was when we left it and honestly it got me thinking. Where did bungle go wrong??d1 could have just got a big update instead of another game all together. Playing today I was using outbreak prime and nechrochasm and instantly I thought about all the work I put in to get those guns. During my play time I remembered how much fun destiny was, but I kept thinking it would have been nice to have a barrier ability here, and the director was missed. My biggest hope is that the expansion will bring destiny 2 up to destiny 1 level. It is disappointing to see the game I love , and the game I play with my friends,to be having so many issues. Bungie you had a great game that I played almost everyday for 3 years. P.s. today was the first time I have used a sniper or shotgun since September 17. Shotguns and snipers were relavent in d1 ,in d2 having them locked to a power aka heavy slot makes them unnecessary.. What does the community think about d1 compared to d2? • Where did they go wrong? They went wrong when they and Activision decided before launching D1 that there needed to be 3 seperate games. The Destiny model, from a game-concept perspective would make much more sense if it had been one game that evolved over 10 years instead of hitting the reset button every 3rd year. Destiny 2 will become a great game and then D3 is announced and it's the same shit all over. Frankly, I'll just stick to D1 and then check out Anthem when that arrives and then I'm crossing my fingers Bungie will be off to better endeavours with other publishers once Destiny is done.
