Do you miss Destiny 1?
Just hopped on Destiny to see how different things felt and how things used to be. I was immediately flooded with memories and good vibes about how amazing this franchise used to be. It had its downs but we came together as a community and rallied behind it. D2 seems uninspired and lazy compared to D1. I feel like bungie doesn’t care and I hate to say I’m not caring much anymore myself. All I know is if D1 was still relevant right now I’d be playing putting more hours into it. I’ve never felt so let down by a sequel.

Not really... I did love it yeah, and I spent a lot of time on it too. Only I didn’t have much other time for anything else while I was still somewhat infatuated with it. I have quite the back catalogue to work through and it’s only growing more and more as time passes. [spoiler]though then again when I find a game I love, I tend to pour pretty much all my gaming time solely into the current one... like I spent about a month of not longer working through persona 5 and pretty much only persona 5. Still haven’t even completed the first playthrough...[/spoiler]

5 RespuestasPlayed Heroic SiVa Strike, Undying mind the other day, used my super like 10x, went toe to toe with yellow-bar Minotaurs. Strutted like a badass, and slapped up some vex. It was soooo awesome. I recommend going back and taking on a strike or nightfall every once in a while. It is real chicken soup for the soul.

It's still a relevant game man. It lost the majority of it's player base when D2 came out, but loads of people are reverting back to it due to D2's mistakes. The D1 community may never be as big as it was in its prime, but it'll always be a relevant game. It reimagined what sci-fi fps games could achieve, and it's always going to be my favorite.

Repopulating D1 is a better strategy to get Bungie to notice our discontent. Destiny still there, be a guardian again! I actually soloed this week’s Nightfall on Destiny 1 Thursday. I didn’t get anything good but it was so much fun to solo. I got all the way to Omingul took her shield down and blasted her with the good old ghorn. Fun times. I still play Destiny 1 more than Destiny 2.

4 RespuestasI was just thinking how amazing it was that the small "live team" brought us, in my opinion, the best era of Destiny. Rise of iron through age of triumph. There was so much content. The entire dev team worked on D2. What the hell happened? I really think it boils down to not having random rolls and the new weapon system. If those changed back, D2 would be a whole different ball game. I don't think there is anything they can do to save the game without reversing those 2 decisions.

I’ve jumped on D1 a few times and it honestly feels like D1 should have been the sequel to D2. The guns work better, the abilities are better, the movement is better ect.

As odd as it is to say, my fondest memories of the Destiny Franchise were in its early development. This includes the Alpha Gameplay on PS4. I am fairly certain this was due to the fact that everything was new and my imagination could run wild. I would lay around daydreaming of all the game could be and the community that would grow around it. A classic case of getting caught up and over-hyping the game. though I should note that I still get on both games from time to time and I still do enjoy them a fair amount. It was just that mysticism that you first get when you start up a new game that has been lost, and there is not much to be done about it/

Editado por kellygreen45: 3/12/2018 8:52:25 PMThe game? No. The game PLAY? Yes, at times. Especially in PVP. Even though going up against teams could be frustrating in Destiny 1, I still had fun. There were many times in Iron Banner this week, where it just wasn't fun---even when I was winning----and it was almost unbearable when you were losing. The game play so stale, so one-dimensional and so predictable. Its camp-and team shoot....or stand shoulder-to-shoulder and roll around the map and team shoot....over and over and over again. ...and there is just NOTHING you can do to stop this shit if you're stuck playing with people who run around like headless chickens, and won't come together for a team push. I almost went tilt yester day playing on Retribution (the Cabal ship map). We were up against that team that was just STUBBORNLY camping around the heavy ammo that spawns out on that platform with the door that directly opens onto it... They SUCKED as individual players...but as a four stack camping in a small corner of the map, they just team shot us to pieces. They were squatting on a power position on the map, they could control both power ammo spawns from there....and there was nothing I could do as a solo player to punish them. But because I was playing with randos it took us most of the game to finally come together and push them off that spot. Only to have ME be the only person to stay there knowing they were going to come right back....and then getting team shot to RIBBONS in a 1v4 when the did. While the rest of my team just aimlessly ran around.... ...and of course we lost. And I'm sure the guy who had the 2.86 efficiency was busy congratulating himself on how "well" he played, and how he "carried" the rest of us. -blam!-ing m---n.

3 RespuestasThe only issue I have with all this "destiny 1 was so much better" is the huge group of people that constantly complained that destiny 1 sucked and they wernt going to be buying destiny 2. Now everyone is always saying destiny 1 is better. It's those people who ruined destiny and made what destiny 2 is today. Blame yourselfs and not Bungie/Activision.

I go back once in awhile, but to be honest I am enjoying D2. I don't give a crap about met as and I just changed up how I play given the changes in D2. I had to adjust how I played from Mass Effect 2 over Mass Effect, and from Mass Effect 3 over Mass Effect 2. I just kill the bad guys.

I don't cuz I can play it anytime still. But I do find it interesting people suddenly loving something they hated 6 months ago and couldn't wait to abandon.
