Rebuttal to community's radar concerns

While it is proven that the least played weekend of D1 Trials history was when the infamous "Spooky Trials" was implemented, it does not prove that it will have the same effect on D2 Trials. The reason for this is the Trial's competitive game modes, namely Countdown and Survival. Back in D1, there was only 1 Trials mode, and that was Elimination. There were no objectives to capture or plant a bomb at, it was purely just kill the other team. Having no reason for the player to not camp is why Spooky Trials in D1 was so unpopular. But in D2 Trials (At least for the Countdown game mode) there are actual objectives to go for. Plant the bomb and defend it. This will cause campers to have to get out of their tents and actually play the objective. Having no radar for this type of game mode will be just like a game of CSGO, which is still among the top streamed games on Twitch. But as for the Survival Trials, I cannot say, since the objective is to kill the enemy team until they run out of lives. Essentially this, but it'd work in Survival too because fighting for power ammo and central map control. In Countdown, the goal will be to position around the objective and prevent flanks. While in Survival, it'll be about playing strong positions and power ammo control. It sounds similar to what we have now, but amplify it, then you'll start to see the difference. Smarter gameplay will be rewarded more, and unnecessary aggression/passiveness will be the downfall of many. Not to say people can't be aggressive, they just can't be mindless about it anymore. And most of all, sound cues from double jumps(especially Blink)will be much more important to watch out for, and to make sure you're not alerting your enemies to yourself through this as well when possible. Sound cues in general will be a big factor, but those are the most audible outside of abilities and gunfire. Footsteps are audible, but not very much so.
