Some youtubers made their name just by playing 1st Destiny. In anticipation of Destiny 2, many of them presumed they will be playing this new game for years ahead. And then the realization dawned on them. The understanding of how far below the expectations Destiny 2 was. After that, many of so called "content creators" simply abandoned the game. Whoever left doesn't even play Destiny 2, simply ranting about "upcoming changes" and trying to find at least something interesting in the new emblems and incoming strike-specific loot. But the spark is gone. The remaining Destiny 2 youtubers simply chew over the stuff that Bungie posts in their TWABs. The roadmap itself, instead of actual playable content, is what left to brood over. Soon, the last of them will turn away from Destiny. RIP the dream.

Pepperidge Farm remembers...

Editado por ryebar: 2/25/2018 1:16:58 AMI just watched Mtashed cry about how bad Twitch is and how he and his Destiny streamer brethren have suffered because of D2 being a bad game overall. Be careful what you ask for MTashed you and your streamer buds brought this on yourselves. You wanted generic PvP. You cried about the space magic. The OHK weapons, the sticky nades. Well you got a game that isn’t as fun to play and nowhere near as fun to watch. Yeah, you need to find another game to play. Hopefully you all don’t ruin that one as well.

I feel for most of them, that werent just blindly chasing views or fame. Its youtubers like MesaSean that are awful. Just sticks his head blindly up Bungies ass to try and capitalise on the exodus of other youtubers leaving from the game. Guy praises the game likes its awesome, despite the numbers saying otherwise. He is in total denial. Even worse is Giggs. That emo slap head did a behind the scenes 'first look' for Bungie and basically praised D2 before its release for everything its been slatted for; 4v4 he loved No rolls he loved You name the nerf, he praised it. So -blam!-ing cringey reading it back, even If i didnt know Giggs was some arrogant nob. D2 has bigger holes than his forehead and the youtubers that, through nothing but greed, sold this game to their fans with praise- only to drop it weeks later- they should be made to work at Bungie lol

Best part is Bungie made this game thinking it’s going to kill it on Twitch

I'm finding most of my long time Monster Hunter pals are honestly annoyed that most Destiny YouTubers and Streamers are coming into the series.
-
I’m a glass have full. Kind of guy. I reckon this is a perfect opportunity for new up and coming streamers to take a punt that D2 to return to strength and position to ride the wave to a successful streaming and YouTube career. Just a thought 😉

Yep, Bungie bankrupted an army of dedicated youtubers and streamers. I hope theyre proud.
-
None of the Youtubers I watch play Destiny anymore xD

Destiny youtubers are losers

Are you talking about Bungie’s “Beggars 4 Life” They are looking for a better bridge with more flow of people. In fact, whatever the fun, they would play destiny 2 on and on and on if there were as many players interested in being carried. Unfortunately the game sucks, so gamers who play for fun, which also happen to be the ones who work and have limited playtime, I guess a good 80/90% of players, simply left; so they’re not throwing coins at their favorite begging whores, instead they’re playing other games, but the beggars aren’t very good, they can’t play and get as much carry-attention as in destiny, so they can’t make a living out of gaming, so they’re going back to the real world for a real job. Omg Bungie you’re actually helping employment! Gg

You know your are in trouble when the ppl who make MONEY playing and talking about your game are turning away. Just saying.... Can we just revert as much of this game as possible to be like D1 again?
-
I miss destiny year one 😔 spending hours with friends on strikes, pvp, vog finding planetary materials for upgrades and strange coins

Frankly, couldn’t care about a youtubers opinion. I watch game content to see a game I haven’t played and make my own opinion or to get some detail on a certain aspect of a game for tutorial purposes. With Destiny specifically, the youtubers who focus on the lore are a different story, as opinions matter when it comes to interpreting lore. I still have no qualms about making my own theories which may run counter to them and the general consensus. Overall YouTube and Twitch are totally overrated and given way too much clout by the gaming industry who wants them to be shills.

I'm more concerned about real players leaving in droves, but I can't deny that being really popular on Twitch and Youtube was a good indicator of how popular this game once was. Last weekend and this weekend made me realize just how unpopular this game is, because even 50%+ of people I see in PvE are teleporting everywhere. All that is left are those with a little bit of hope, those who genuinely still like the game, and those that can't play other FPS games because their connection is so bad it triggers anti-lag screen freezes.

Most have already moved on along with the rest of the community. If bungie wanted to reinvigorate their game, they're going to need more than some masterworks for people to be interested. The majority of the community want a looter shooter not this. Even something as simple as adding in all of D1's weapon assets/perks into d2 would pump some life into the game. God knows they love copying/pasting their content. Why would people play D2 after finishing the content when D1's sandbox is far better, and there's always someone thing chase in it? They set themselves up to fail, sadly.
-
Well, they can only make so many videos showing the same content before they run off all their viewers. With nothing interesting except NF Scoring coming soon, I don't blame them.

R E M E M B E R

They all switched to dead PC and yet still they try and give us the odd random weapon review which just isn't relevant to console anymore. Good bye.

“The North remembers “
-
Hmm nah I remember it being pretty much the same in the first year of D1
-
They jumped on the Fortnite bandwagon ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
-
D2 killed the streamers?Never got into watching any of those guys.Imo they are the problem with gaming, something op just let a Youtubers complain and all the sheep follow. That is how you get a bland game.
-
I gotta admit, I just don't recognize the modern gaming culture. I'll never understand streaming a game rather than playing it. I really find it hard to take a youtuber or twitch streamer's opinion of a game any more seriously than I would a friend's or a gaming journalist's. But it seems many people are happy enough to take on a streamer's opinion as their own...
