Who cares about emblem stats?
They been spending time on this! Really? We want more RPG elements. I want weapon and armor slots. I want to add shards etc to my armor giving it better attributes, and I want to go on massive quests to improve the handling of my weapons, or adding the scope, barrel, pistol grip, and stock that I want. I want to add a weapon on my sparrow. I don’t need an emblem that tracks what class I’ve killed. There is only three classes, and they couldn’t even add another one for this game.

3 RespuestasI really, really, really don’t care about emblem stats. I prefer D1 emblems that had no stats whatsoever. You earned them from completing something and that’s it.

I don’t hate the idea of them, but this is something that you build ( and then brag about ) when your game has tonnes of content and your player base is content. The timing ( and the tone ) of that announcement couldn’t have been worse; Bungie: we regret to inform you ( the Destiny community ) that all improvements and fixes that you’ve been looking forward to that will make Destiny 2 a much better game to play have been back to either March or May ( with the vast majority still coming in September ). But fear not, we’ve got brand new emblems to soften the blow.... There is a word, [b]TRIAGE[/b], which means assessing the most important thing ( that’s broken ) that needs attention, and then prioritizing it fix. I get that Bungie is large studio comprised of a lot of teams which are working on a lot of different things ( and that Emblems were a relatively easy thing for one of these teams to build in a short period of time ). I also get that it’s the incompetence of the Sandbox team that’s holding back all of Destiny 2’s Quality of Life fixes ( as well as their fault that we are in this mess in the first place ). But when you deliver the news the way Bungie did, it feels like they don’t understand what triage means, that they aren’t listening, that they don’t give a -blam!- about this community. Thursday’s TWAB was the equivalent of Bungie saying “ We realize that you need a heart transplant A.S.A.P. but our Cardio Thoracic surgeon currently isn’t on call, he’s on holiday and won’t be back until next month, [b]But[/b] we are selling lollipops in our gift shop, so that should make your ( painful and life threatening ) wait more bearable.”

The reality of the point is shaders and skins and banners do absolutely nothing for gameplay, these do not increase the longevity of the game what so ever, most people have moved onto different games and the rest will get sick and leave before may.

They keep giving tiny little incremental "patches", this isn't going to bring anyone back. Stats on emblems are pointless. Let us see a full stats page in game if anything.

2 RespuestasDude exactly I mean what in the world is the point of class kill counts when you have literally no control of what classes you play against. Am I gonna skip shooting at a Titan to get my Warlock kills up!? NO!!! You've got to be bloody kidding me mate. Beyond the fact that it's utterly pointless it's a complete waste of time for more serious players. I guess I should just admit defeat to the casuals. The fact that bungle has been using resources on that made me so disgusted I didn't even log in for faction rallies which is my favorite event. Maybe FWC will finally win without me.

2 RespuestasI want Bungie to create an emblem for 'days inactive' that is a salt shaker, and they make it so i don't have to log back in to apply it to my characters. just mass drop it on every who has been gone for a month. anyone with 100 days gets a gold exotic salt shaker. you know that big empty part of the map in the south of the EDZ that was part of one or two missions? make a salt cemetery. or use the empty part of the arcology on titan. or most of Io. make is so people can go up to my tombstone, and my character spawns and does the head slap emote for an hour.

I agree we need/want more meaningful shit in this game- but I am okay with the emblem stats. I think they are cool.

This tells you how they still don't have the slightest ambition to change the stale game they built and that they are holding fast to the failed design. Here is why. Notice they said buffs associated with some emblems. That is right again a power feature. Why is this bad? Because it is making emblems equipment in the game. Why is that bad. Because it will be a have to have thing that is stupid as hell to get some 2% power bonus in some not all of course but some activity. There is the flawed mind set they have. They believe they can give us a little power in the raid "raid perks for raid armor" or maybe an emblem that works it's magic in nightfalls, while still protecting the stale crucible balance they seem to still be clinging to. I can't say this for sure of course as it has not happened and we have not seen the next balance pass. Who knows if any one will be playing by the time that even arrives but it all shows me they have been at a minimum spending valuable time they don't have developing items we don't want to exploit players in ways that are looking shady yet again.

I really really really don’t care about emblem stats. I actually prefer emblems blank as hey were in D1. Why are they wasting valuable dev time on a cosmetic emblem when they could be fixing the game and making it better. Adding stuff back that was in D1.

Right now I fully understand that Emblems/Auras are the only thing they really have to offer us. Anything of importance is still a ways off, sandbox changes are a month away and unique loot has been pushed back. But honestly having that much of TWAB dedicated to emblems and auras is just well Lame. What happened to talking to a dev about changes that mean something to us. Hell there was a tweet a few days back about a Sunshot getting 3 collateral kills in the crucible during a Exotic tuning test. Bungie should be working on enough stuff that they can take the time and write up a few paragraphs on the progress they are making. TWAB that went into what they were thinking with raid challenges was damn fine one. It got the community talkings, some positive some negative. But this weeks TWAB felt like the bad old days where Bungie was trying to tell us something is super awesome when really we know it's not.

While you guys are playing this stupid game other AAA companies are actually making a game. Bungie has become one of the dumbest companies that are creating video games these days. I mean, I make mistakes in life, but this is freaking lame... I think Luke Smiths child like mind has finally rubbed off on this entire company.

I'm surprised nobody has complained about how this new emblem system is actually restrictive. Basically if you want to wear an aura not only do you have to complete the activity for it but you also have to wear that one specific emblem for it. What if you don't like the emblem? Welp, that sucks ;)
