Guided Games for Raids Is Broken
Holy hell, this system is pathetic. On a 27 minute queue time, it takes 55 minutes to find the first clan. I accept. But for whatever reason they disband the lobby. So it searches for another 10 minutes. I get the same goddamn clan. They leave the lobby again. Search for another 5 minutes. That's right! Get the SAME EXACT CLAN AGAIN. THEY LEAVE AGAIN. This happens twice more. FINALLY I get offered a different clan/room. We sit there for a few minutes. THEY ABANDON THE LOBBY AGAIN. It has been an hour and 25 minutes, and I have yet to be put into a lobby with a room that doesn't bail. How is this behavior allowed??? I've never played the raid and I guess I never will since I don't have a clan of 6+ people. Absolutely worthless system as long as clans can leave multiple times without being punished.

Our clan has run guided games for the raid a bunch of times. The problem we have is it ALWAYS glitches out in some way that requires us to abandon and restart the raid... Should allow people to go to orbit and return, since they won't fix all the many bugs.

Last week it took me 4 minutes to solo find a game in guided games.

GG are in a pretty rough state. Frankly would probably be better off posting on the forums. Just let people know you're new and you'd be surprised how many people jump up to offer aid.

There are many clans that specialize in raiding. How about searching for a clan instead? Also there is LFG. Post out there you'd like to find folks to Sherpa you through it. You can do the same thing in there too - put out a post that you need Sherpa help through the raid and on what platform, then wait for the posts.

Be glad you actually got into a room. I have tried guided games multiple times at different times of the day and have never even been put with anyone! I think the idea is great, but still needs some work. Maybe a tower chat would help too. Maybe a request wall that you can visit that has raid requests from people.

I like the idea of guided games but it definitely needs some fine tuning. I think that they need to provide some form of incentive for players to want to be guides on these games. I'd also like to see Normal and Prestige options. The guys you encountered should be frozen out and no longer allowed to offer guides games.

It's not broken. The issue is no one uses it. That's why it takes so long.

Guided games is TRASH!!! Use destinylfg.com or destnylfg.net People are always posting for the raid. I believe you can also post for a fire team on this site as well.

No, the problem is they told us they were finally going to give us match making instead they gave us a tool that nobody uses.... so it’s completely useless... and the lfg threads are worthless if you’re someone that hasn’t been able to run the raid yet... all you find are groups looking for people that already have experience running it... it’s frustrating especially if you’re someone like myself that has been in clans in d1 completed all the raids many many times but these clans have disbanded leading up to d2 and can’t seem find a clan that is willing to run the raid

Did they say why they disbanded? Perhaps your light level was too low or you don't have the best weapons (shitty reasons I know but I'm just curious). I've never used guided games but can't you leave an oathbreaker report on them or something? That should have been 3 negative reports and if their clan keeps getting them they'll probably be banned from doing it (I don't know how the system works though).

Was your level really low? Garbage gear? Did you enter voice chat, have a mic? Do you sound like you're 7? Is your gamertag or class tag written in a language that didn't match the hosts? Did the host clan have something memey in their tag? Guided games is pretty bad right now, we've tried to run a few and have always had bad luck, even as hosts. Just use one of the numerous LFG options out there.

Just don't understand why match making isn't a option Can't be any worse than this piece of broken shit And if you don't want matchmaking, don't use it - that way everyone wins I tried 3 times on matchmaking, at 90 mins a time. 2 timed out without success and the 3rd crashed upon matchmaking 270 mins approx watching my ship in orbit. Fkin jokes from Bungie, cos when they nerfed the loot cave, they said this isn't how they intended the game to be played. So sitting in a loading screen for 4 1/2 hrs for fk all is?? I'm playing warframe now, it's free and you don't have to put up with Bungies broken lying shit week after week I'll be back at some point, when the scamming stops and the game is what it was supposed to be, if that ever happens

They were probably hoping for some super star and using GG like an LFG. Honestly, it’s better to find a group outside the game for a raid. You’re already on the app, so find(or make) a learning or first time group.

The idea was good the execution was horrible just like he idea of Destiny 2 was good but the execution was horrible.
